Oh hey look, our hitter with god-tier power who was doing everything but hitting for power has not lost the ability to hit for power. And just like that, he's into the top 10 in HRs leaguewide.

Even if he cools off and ends up a guy who plays a competent 2B while getting on base and providing overall league-average results at the plate, he's very useful. At current though he has the best fWAR of any AL second baseman, which is a bit nuts.

What's crazy is that he likely could be even more valuable if the Jays used him at shortstop over Bo.

Possibly? Worth noting that he also committed a lot of errors at SS in the minors.

Edit: fielding percentage isn't a great marker of overall defense, but Santi's minor league fielding % at SS is exactly the same as Bo's in the majors (.960).

If Jansen just broke something there, I would hope we'll see Moreno but it would almost certainly be Collins.
