She's quite reliable to be honest. She gets a lot of stick from people, but she normally gets things right months in advance, especially for clubs in Spain.

I actually do believe and trust her. I think people take the concreteness of what she reports and try to use it to "gotcha" her when things fall through, but the reality is the complexities of the transfer process are extremely volatile and fluid.

A player can simply wake up the next morning and change his mind, and people will dunk on her for it. But she has been way ahead of the curve on certain calls like Grealish to City and Lukaku to Chelsea before they were even getting picked up by more popular journalists.

She says Dembélé is a done deal, which is cool.

It's true, that's why I'm usually reluctant to post what I find out from my end at times. People get scoops and they are mostly right, but if the club or player decide to change then you'll look a bit stupid but these things happen a lot. I remember reading about Bissouma in Jan to Villa and someone I know said Bissouma and his reps were literally at Villa park to speak about personal terms and then he changed his mind and decided to wait till this summer.

Chelsea tell Romelu Lukaku he can join Inter on loan if the finances are right
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/jun/08/chelsea-romelu-lukaku-can-join-inter-on-loan-if-finances-right-gabriel-jesus
Chelsea have told Romelu Lukaku he will be allowed to join Internazionale on loan if the deal makes sense financially.

Lukaku is desperate to return to Inter after falling out of favour at Chelsea, who broke their transfer record when they bought the forward for £97.5m last summer, and there is a desire from all parties for the move to go through.

Thomas Tuchel has no intention of standing in the Belgian’s way and talks between the clubs are under way.
...
However a significant amount of work needs to be done if Lukaku, whose lawyer has been in touch with Inter, is to leave. Inter cannot afford to sign him on a permanent basis and Chelsea, who could join the race to sign Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, could demand as much as £25m as a loan fee. They will also want the Italian club to cover a heavy portion of the former Manchester United player’s £325,000-a-week wages.

I'd much rather have Sterling. Jesus is so overrated.

Opposite truthfully.

Jesus is a demon and a modern day 9.

When you say modern day no.9 do you mean a player that isn't really a no.9 but is put there because the team doesn't have one? I can see why you'd like him with Havertz and Werner as your options. Personally hope you get him. If only you had a player like Tammy Abraham or Jamie Vardy.

TAMMY SUCKS.

Modern day false 9**** I should say.

He just has so much in his locker. His movement and press is tremendous, so he'd work in Tuchel's system. But he also has great balance, can dribble and has shown the ability to be ruthless in front of goal.

I think City are just so spoiled with riches that a talent like Jesus gets muted a bit. I think he'd work really well running around with Havertz and Mount/Pulisic/Ziyech/Werner/Dembélé, dropping and collecting from deep and playing quick passes and making runs in behind.

He's also only 25 too so his best years should be in front of him.

I've been a strong Gab fan for a while, and think all City forwards are made to look more pedestrian than their level by Pep's system. It's more midfield oriented than his Bayern side. Aside from Jesus' potential to improve as a forward, I like his workrate along the right wing and ability to 'turn the corner' on defenders to trap them behind the play like Havertz and Messi.

If not for his nationality I would be jealous of Chelsea's odds to nab him (even without the foreigner quota, since Madrid has too many NT level Brazilians in attack whose availability and form at either level can not only affect their use in NT but the use of their teammates at both levels).
