Rik Smits probably gave Shaq more trouble than BroLo could... until Brook added a 3-point shot to his game. 
Anyway, Brook probably edges this with a higher peak but I voted Rik because I want to give him some credit.

Smits in his prime was able to hold his own against the all time great centers in his era like Shaq and Ewing.
