Is an Equipment Cheating Culture ok?

Do you think deflate gate and the Patriots success at minor cheating inspired Boston to 'accidentally' missalign the warriors basket 2 inches too high for shoot around warm ups?

How pathetic is it when a team feels the need to cheat like this to try to gain an edge?

It seems weird to me. Especially for a first game hosting the Finals, where the world is watching. Europeans and other countries already doubt the moral direction of sport in America and it seems a sad reminder. Or is anything goes for an edge ok?

It's sad that Boston thinks they can't win without pulling these kinds of shenanigans.

Having said that, as someone who grew up playing sports year-round; it's only cheating if you get caught. We're talking about some of the most competitive people on the planet.

I don't see it any different than some of the bull shenanigans that happen in the business world as well. Not my cup of tea and personally, I find it disgusting, but uber competitive people gonna do what they do.

It’s true. Zero chance this was some team plot. It’s way to stupid. Players will notice a two inch height difference every single time, and they’ll notice right away as happened here.

I was going to say this happens a lot, you just dont hear about it because no one makes a stink over it and because of the Auerbach thing they had to move them right before the game. OP wouldnt have made the thread if his team had won tonight.
