I said it awhile back. The boys just aren't ready. We've got veterans which makes these lapses odd, but we don't have Finals experience. Which is a whole nother level. Against an opponent that's deadly and knows how to go for the kill when it's presented. Celts had two shots and failed.
Me personally I look forward to next year. The East will be tougher perhaps, but it'll make the winning sweeter.

and the winning has been coming against injured or tanking teams for months. We're a good, sometimes great team, that beat teams less talented than us because of injuries. Do we beat a Nets team with an integrated Simmons? Maybe. Do we beat a Bucks team with their second best player Middleton not injured? Highly doubt it given it took 7 games with him out. Do we beat the Heat with Herro playing and Lowry and Butler not gimped? Probably not. This Warriors team would probably lose to a healthy Bucks and Heat team. It's easily their weakest healthy squad during their run. We SHOULD still win this series. It really shouldn't have gone 6 games. We have a decided talent advantage.
One thing I've decided, this is a very unlikeable team full of whiners, floppers, pseudo-intellectuals and low BBIQ. It's hard to get too excited about this team other than for Horford finally getting a ring. Tatum used to be my favorite but he's awful now with his body language, whining and lack of focus. I can't see this team, or any team they can put together for next season given our assets and cap space, that will return to this point. Too many things went absolutely perfect for us to even get here. Next season we might get swallowed up by a loaded and healthier East.
