If the Jazz are really gonna blow it up, I'd try to get Conley out of the deal too. If they're looking to get younger and cheaper, we could add Coby, Bradley, and Troy Brown via Sign and Trade and take back Conley in addition to the basic Pat/Vuc for Gobert framework.
Something I think folks are papering over is how much Gobert's offensive value depends on a high level PG who can deliver really sharp passes to him. Getting Conley keeps that in place. Without him, I have a lot of doubts about the Bulls PGs being able to get him the ball effectively in close (playoff) kind of settings. Also, Conley's a good shooter and gives us the insurance we need in the unfortunately likely case that Lonzo is going to be messed up. Conley's a step below the best, but as far as PG play, he's a step above what we've got.
I don't know that the Jazz want to trade Conley, but it stands to reason that if they're looking at trading Gobert, I think they'd at least consider it.
1- Conley, Caruso
2- Zach, Ayo
3- DDR, ???
4- ???, ???
5- Gobert, ???
Wildcard: Lonzo
Even then, lots of holes on the Bulls. If/when Lonzo comes back, they obviously can use him and play small like they did this year, but they still really need to add some bigs. They'd want to throw the MLE at someone like Boucher (who's switchability, shooting, and shot blocking would be awesome next to Rudy) I think, and try to fill in with depth there, but that's a tea that should get to the second round, and if they get Lonzo healthy so the point they could roll out lineups like
Conley / Zach / Lonzo / DDR / Rudy
Caruso / Zach / Lonzo / Boucher / Rudy
Or really small lineups with
Caruso / Zach / Lonzo / DDR / Boucher
They can really give a lot of different looks against other teams
