Yes i know. Not better than a book worm. I prefer players who read books.

Don't laugh, he very well may be in your future. Heard a rumor he was recently seen scouting book stores in Rip City.

No thank you from POR.

Would rather move Hart for another FRP this year.

I don't disagree... And yet...

Our options are pretty limited. Regardless of his basketball IQ, I think his physical attributes make him a playable wing in a playoff series, something we don't currently have on the roster.

Might be the best of a bunch of imperfect (and limited) options. And who knows, maybe things click on an actual good team where he can just feed off of stars.

Can anyone really know a Renaissance Man such as the esteemed Tobias Harris?

I think a better question is just what is a good 'win -now' trade for portland, even if not with philly. Seems to me like Jroy wants portland to blow it up, picks etc, but that doesnt seem at all to be the direction of the franchise. So what is a move in line with what the franchise is looking to do?

In JRoy’s defense, that trade is absolutely terrible for them and should be sweetened with healthy dose of Tobias Harris, with us taking back Bledsoe
always a jump shot away.

It wouldn’t be the first time I disagreed with the FO. Bringing in a draft guru signals a rebuild but that doesn’t match the noise coming out of the FO.

I don’t think there is a win now move out there that I will like and there are a bunch of possibilities that I absolutely hate.

A move for Ben Simmons is very high risk but high reward.

Something like #7, Eric Bledsoe, Josh hart and various trade exceptions for the Young Socialite.

If Magic picks Chet. Why not Mo Bamba?

Would you trade Thybulle, Jaden Springer? a guy we pick with 23rd and for Bamba?

Harden
Maxey
Tobias
Embiid
Bamba

From having the smallest 3-4-5 into the biggest 3-4-5. Those 3 can also shoot.

You can also trade Tobias for a 3&D if you want.

Bamba is a RFA.

And Embiid at PF is silly.

Why give up assets for Bamba who is an awkward fit with Embiid on D? Just sign Boucher instead.

Then S&T?

I dont think Embiid at PF is silly.

We’ve seen signs Embiid and Doc being open to Embiid playing PF with Drummond or Reed at PF/C. While we saw first hand how undersized we are with these modern contenders and the two teams in the finals and last years champ would show we are undersized at 4-5 positions.

“why not just upsize Tobias”?

Yes, but how? Jerami Grant? Christian Wood? I just dont see it for now

Im fine with Boucher. I think he’d be a good fit and cheaper.

If we’re going into this route, I don’t mind if..
Option 1- Boucher
Option 2- Bamba
Option 3 - cross fingers on Reed or Bassey
