Congrats to Warriors. We're guaranteed a Game 6. However, Draymond Green is officially washed up. 4 consecutive abysmal games in the Finals. There is no going back.

These were not off night bad games. These are straight up horrific garbage games. 4 of them in a row in the Finals. Ouch.

Andrew Wiggins and Kevin Looney did the majority of the dirty work for GS.

Magic’s best day as a rookie ended the year with a ring after playing center in game 7… look up the stats

Magics is unquestionably one of the best ever - right there in the top 10

Of course I expect some pushback , to each their own I’m not gonna argue it much but I think it’s closer than people would like to acknowledge
Curry’s peak is right up there with Jordan , Lebron , prime shaq.

Oh I agree - but I just think the top 20 guys all have peeks in BIG games - if you ain’t never been in the finals we don’t know how good you can be under ultimate pressure- curry again proved he at worse top 15 same with magic…. I don’t even disagree with you injuat think there is some debate with magic -

We've seen Boston come back from the dead so many times in the playoffs. The Warriors aren't so much better than them that they can't win another road game. I'm a pessimist so if I was a Boston fan I wouldn't be counting on it. But outside looking in I think they've still got a really good chance.

Yeah this is going to 7 games. Both teams are prone to piss poor play and amazing play. Curry had 43 points the next closest guy had 18. They can’t expect Curry to carry them like that the rest of the way. Even Boston had pretty balanced scoring, it’s just the other team had a guy that went Super Nova.

Combine this all with elite defense all game long.
All these "when it matters" ridiculousness. Warriors aren't in the position to win if Curry doesn't do what he did the first three quarters. All of Wiggins great plays are for naught if Curry doesn't have his big 3rd quarter. Celtics trying to double Curry is what helped Looney get the layup late to put them up 5.

Wiggins had a great game, but he wasn't the reason they won, he was a reason. That's just a statement being made to try to make it seem like Curry didn't do some serious heavy lifting.

This guy will never ever say anything positive about Curry and will always try to find some obscure reason to throw shade. Its now at a very weird point..

Ah, I see.

JN61, it's okay to acknowledge that Curry was great in a game, it really is. It's okay to not try to downplay Curry's impact on a game. You will not die from these actions, I promise.

I think the Celtics still win this. Physically, I can’t see the Warriors holding up… but hey who knows? It almost certainly going 7.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Now you know how Bucks fans feel. But instead of for a brief period of time, we get to see it all game every game.

Curry is the best shooter the NBA has seen and a first ballot hall of famer.

But I can see why people would pick Magic over him. Magic won 5 championships and his career was essentially over at the age of 31 (he came back a few years later but retired again).

3 Time MVP, 3 Time Finals MVP, etc.

It’d be really cool to just put away the hot takes for a day and appreciate both teams.

Also, since when is hitting clutch FTs when the opposing team has to play the foul game "padding numbers"? I bet Nick Anderson wishes those are no big deal. Hell, Magic Johnson helped blow a totally winnable championship in 84 because he couldn't hit them.

Although I am a Warriors fan and Celtics fan in the 1980s i am not pickining between Magic and Curry. They are such different players.
I think Magic might have shot the Lakers out of the 1981 championship in game 3 vs the Rockets in the the 1st round if my memory is working.

Guess y’all forgetting about Butler getting swept against the Bucks 2 playoffs ago while averaging 14 points on 29% shooting.

Even though Tatum is struggling, he still has never put up a stinker like Butler.

A typical Celtic fan that will bring up two seasons ago when the Heat came off a Finals appearance with only a month's rest.

Jimmy played badly during that series (everyone has a playoff stinker) and the whole Heat collectively. But I would still pick Jimmy over Tatum right now fr.

Typical Celtics fan? One guy is playing right now, the other is making coffee in Miami.

Tatum just turned 24. Averaging 26/6/6 for the playoffs.

Jimmy is 32.. averaged 27/7/4 on a slightly better true shooting percentage and just got bounced by Tatum.

I think it’s clearer that if Klay showed up in one of games 1 and 3, the warriors Are up 3-1. He did a little better than last game so I give him some credit but still, there’s two maybe 3 games left. If he can’t give a lot more he’s putting a lot of pressure on Steph to come up with 40 pts for them to win. That’s not the best recipe to win a series. And half the time it’s mental, he needs to stop letting other players and crowds and whatever else get into his head.

I didnt think i would say it, but i really think Draymond should stop the podcast until the end of the series. To me its not about him not having the time to it, or that the 30 minutes or so takes from his focus, but its all the drama each podcast has been causing after they air, and then him almost getting too caught up with all the periphery mental games instead of just playing his game. The last two games he has played lot trash, so then he goes online, says he plays like trash, and then the next game pushes too hard to try to validate what he promised, instead of just being mentally present with his teammates and on the same level as them.

Okay, try playing without him for an entire half and then come back to me with "can't play him in the second half". We saw what not having him around for most of the season did to the Warriors. Again, stop.

Lmao I don't care. Warriors aren't doing dick without Draymond. Stop pretending that him not playing somehow gives them a better chance.

Not really the argument I would use for Magic as he joined a GOAT and had an absolutely stacked roster from year 1 to his retirement, but it's ridiculous to say "Idk how anyone can have Magic over Curry". He's top 3-8 All Time for most in the NBA space.

This Celtics team has been so goddamn bad with their inconsistencies that it would not shock me to see them win game 5 and then choke in an embarrassing fashion in game 6 for the title. Sort of similar to the heat series when they blew a chance to go to the finals at home after winning a huge game 5. Arguably the worst finals home team ever.
