voters probably aren't smart enough to do this, but the finals mvp should be a wrap (unanimous stephen curry) after today regardless of the outcome of the series.

what a travesty it would be if curry doesn't win the award, especially after he was flagrantly robbed by a bench player in 2015.

Steph having an all time finals and we have at least 15 idiots on here trying to find things to complain about.

That woman is one of many. Maybe the second side chick looks better

JN61 wrote:Í thought it was noteworthy how poorly Curry has played on the 4th in this serie. It's something we have became to expect from him but this is really bad play by him on the 4th so far:

3 ppg, 1,5 ast, 1 trb, 1.5 tov
3/10 FG, 0/3 3pt, 0 Fts

If they want to win Curry has to play better. 3 ppg on decent minutes is just horrible. He has to attack more and stop shooting bricks from 3.

I assume for agenda reasons, you counted game 2 where Curry didn’t play the entire 4th because of a blowout win?

Edit: I take that back. I see you did just go off the 2 4th quarters, so props on not doing the obvious troll thing I assumed you were doing. I’m pretty sure game 4 will help his 4th quarter stats though.

I am not Curry's biggest fan (don't hate him; he's just not my guy), but I'm happy for him that's he's locked in for these Finals and showing out.

He's had a hell of a career and this is a great way to cap things if this is (possibly) his last great run at an apex level.

The guy will be 35 next year. And he's small and a guy who has to work hard to get open.

Now is the time, and he's taking advantage of the moment.

Respect.

I've never actually liked him just because of the gross mouthguard stuff and the annoying on-court cockiness, but there are so many people with agendas that deny he's right up there with any superstar, I end up arguing for him anyway.

It's understandable - those are just kids. Some of them probably never watched 80s and 90s games. They read all those pieces from internet and started to romanticize players. They think MJ is Jesus, who took 4 G leaguers to six peat, while Curry need everything from Klay's game 6s, Draymond's moving screens, KD's prime to have his success. They don't understand being great, having great support, while also having good luck, those factors aren't mutually exclusive.

The romanticization of legends by fans (that most, like you said, never even saw play) is comical. It doesn't matter how good a player is today, they can't possibly be as good as someone who played 30+ years ago because... reasons. Steph might have 3 rings and 6 finals appearances, but Charles Barkley with his 0 rings and 1 finals appearance is still better because he played 30 years ago.

It's odd because we don't see this resistance to accepting new greats in other sports.

Trae is spelled with only four letters where Steph is five. Trae is more efficient than Steph, LITERALLY
