It’s part of the reason that we might draft a PG eventually.

Ignore who is the ball handler but just based on who they can defend . We are probably better off finding a 3&D Pg who is a secondary ball handler . It might even be someone already on the roster (dort)

SG - SGA
SF - Giddey

Then you can add anyone in next years draft and shift these guys up or down. I kind of like the Dort/Mann pairing off the bench, when this team fills out.

Jabari went from -600 to -300 to be selected #1. No idea what is the reason. I know I might regret it but I really really want Chet.

(Not gonna bet but think the value with Ivey at 2 being +5500 is insane)

Any word on why https://www.nbadraft.net/ changed from OKC drafting Chet to drafting Ivey? That's been my instinct, but I'm wondering if there has been any sources suggesting that's the case.

Oh I didn't know about this, very surprised and don't know why.

Didn't read anything about Ivey in the last days...thought the hype was going down. Saw Banchero was in OKC yesterday.

My instinct also tells me Presti is gonna surprise us because that's what he does. We should know who's going first before draft day but to be sure of who we are getting, we will have to wait the pistons pick at 5 on draft night :(

Maybe they're trying to factor Presti's unpredictability. To me, if I had to bet on 1 player, I'd bet on Presti picking Ivey. He just seems like a guy Presti would crush on. I'm not invested in any one of them because quite frankly it's difficult to predict how guys will translate in the league, but in trying to read Presti, I think Ivey is going to be his guy.

It's easy to make a case for any of Chet/Ivey/Banchero to be "his guy" (mostly because they are all smart and hard working guys). Chet is the obvious one but maybe Presti perceives some red flags about him. Ivey is the kind of player Presti could care less about his flaws so I don't disagree with you.

I think Orlando is going to take Chet.

Same feeling and there's something I don't like about Jabari so I really hope Orlando picks him (he's the top prospect I watched the least though so my opinion is irrelevant).

I think it's almost a lock that Orlando will pick Jabari or Chet. I don't know why u think Presti wouldn't pick Banchero (I hope u right though)

What you don’t like abt Jabari ? At his best you project him to be a super 3&D only ?

Chet or Jabari, both are ok (I don't understand the doubt about Smith, he really would fit in with our roster). The pick I really don't know what Presti will do is nb 12. If we get Chet, I want a PF (Griffin,Sochan). In guards we have good players (SGA,Dort,Waters,Maledon,Mann) an perhaps at a later draft at 34

Which of these guys is best player on a championship team? I don't feel that Shai is on that level. So taking "the guy" seems very important to my way of thinking.

Champioship is far away. After 2 years you still can trade Shai for another piece on you roster

A good Power-forward in this draft is very important. I'm so tired about Bazley (turnovers, and poor Basketball IQ)

I still project Jabari to be a future all star or close to it and I would draft him at 2 or 3. Ball handling/BBIQ worries me a bit because it's so important in today's NBA (Boston team is a good example of that) and sometimes underrated if the guy can shoot from 3.

I just don't see superstar material in Jabari but I suck at evaluating talent  so I would personnaly rather take Chet (and maybe even Ivey but that would be a huge gamble) because we badly need an option #1 and I don't see Jabari becoming that guy.

Same about Bazley and I like both Griffin and Sochan but I just want to draft BPA with #2 and #12. I like some players at 12 that could develop into very good players so I wouldn't worry about position right now.

Chet/Griffin/SGA/Giddey/Dort could be one of the most exciting young team in the NBA...doubt AJG will fall to 12 though.
