The marginal value of pinch-running up four (and removing one of your best hitters in favour of Tapia) is fairly limited. Also, Kirk needs the exercise.

They probably will but I'm not so sure there's any catching them. The fact that all 3 wild card spots might be from the AL east is something MLB really needs to sort out. And the NL west seems to be trying to make the issue even more pronounced.

Think they were 8 games ahead of the Jays near the end of July in 2015. They are still catchable.

na, its the best divison in baseball consistenty, even when they have a down year, the next year they come back swinging. if the other teams, in the other divisions, in wild card position can't beat the 'lesser' teams in weaker divisions, they truly don't deserve it at all.
