Knicks could easily beat out our Ol reliable meme offer of Robinson, Herro, and picks. Just off the top if the Knicks put RJ Barrett in play which they will it already puts the deal on par with Herro. Then they can include Quickley, Fournier, and picks and it’s all over with our offer.

Jimmy has never had problems allowing other guys go off. All season Jimmy has allowed guys to have their moments. Mitchell and Jimmy have both needed other guys to step up in recent years. I think both will be fine to be 1A-2A on any given night.

Bam not being that guy hasn't really been anything to do with Jimmy. I'd say its more a combination of coaching and emphasis on Bam helping other guys Herro, Robinson, Strus and Vincent get going and Bam's mentality and ability to recognise when to be assertive on the court.

NY can offer more but what does that do for Mitchell? Why would Mitchell want to go to New York to pair up with Julius Randle, Derrick Rose and Kemba Walker? I don't buy the idea that Mitchell wants to go to the Knicks.

Also I'm not sure how willing New York or their fan base are trading Barrett in a package for Mitchell and if its just Quickly, Fournier, filler and picks that doesn't beat our offer.

It’s just an example how Utah can and will find a better offer if they have to. Mitchell has no leverage to demand a trade solely to the Heat.

They are all training in NY this weekend it looks like and celebrating the trainers b day. Melo was also there among others. If Mitchell was a free agent and we had cap space this type of photo would get me excited. He’s locked into a long term deal with Ainge in the front office. These guys can play to the cameras all they want. Mitchell can demand a trade all he wants but does not mean Utah has to agree. We literally just saw how the Sixers dealt with Simmons making him absolutely miserable until they found the deal they wanted. Ainge would probably make it his personal duty if Mitchell demands the Heat to make sure he ends up in Boston lol.

ya i give up on the mitchell thing, theres no way ainge is giving riley mitchell , just cant see it... if anything, ainge prolly took the job to keep riley from landing him. We need to go all in on kyrie if he becomes available.

Herro is better than Barrett as of right now.

Let’s let it play out, we got the fun police in full force right now. The players have the power these days and Mitchell has been good to the Jazz. If he wants Miami they’ll gladly accept our 3 white guys and all our picks

So we have Beal and Lavine as free agents, Kyrie possibly can be with his PO. If Riley is interested with any of them he’ll get a meeting. Then you have trade options in Mitchell, Dame, SGA?, LeRun?, Grant, Wood, Barnes, etc. (I’m sure I forgot one of the big names). If these guys become available we have a very good package we can put together to compete with anyone. We’ll see what happens

Yeah it's not easy, but its definitely doable. Riley and Ainge making a deal doesn't seem likely but we really don't know how these decisions are made. For all we know ownership and Ainge are on the same page and looking for a full reset.

If trading Mitchell is even something that is an option then I imagine Utah will likely do a full reset. Having vets like Gobert, Conley, and Gay there earning a considerable amount of the cap and being paid past next season means they will likely be moved also if Mitchell is moved.

Ainge may prefer having a fresh slate, collecting a bunch of picks and young guys to build something like he did in Boston. If that's the case then where Donovan is moved doesn't really matter as long as a good young player (Herro) and multiple picks come back in the deal.

A big factor in this is that Mitchell has a 15% trade kicker which is paid by the team trading him unless Mitchell chooses to waive it. So unless Utah play ball with where Mitchell wants to go then he could force them to pay an extra 15% of the full contract owed which is like an extra 20mil or so. Highly doubt Utah are going to pay an extra 20mil just to trade Mitchell where they would like when Riley is offering at minimum Herro and multiple FRPs

People talking about Danny Ainge not wanting to move Mitchell to Miami, are not looking at who Ainge is, and the appeal a player like Herro would have to him for some pretty basic reasons.

Is this not obvious? Miami fans get what they've been wanting, their legit sized center with Bam moving to PF, a Butler for Gobert trade makes both fanbases happy. Miami gets to start their Herro, Bam and Gobert era.

He said a thumb in the butt is better than no thumb in the hand....or so the saying goes!!!

Get away from the Spida wish list, we coming for the trash heap ova here, were picking ups some mid level vets, and load managing the oldies, thats what we call an upgrade in Miami. There is an off chance somebody will take Robinson from us for some expiring contract vet or bench upgrade for us.
