I didn't watch the whole pregame show but did note that every single analyst
said Dubs, mostly in 6-7 games. I'm not a fan (at all) of several of those guys and I
can't stand the Celtics but it's would be kinda funny if the C's ran away
with this series and won in 5 or at most 6 games. Their defensive intensity
is amazing. And how many teams have 3rd/4th best players as good as
Marcus Smart and Al Horford?

Sick shot that Poole hit to close out the 3rdQ of game 2. You knew it was going in.

Respect to Brendan Haywood for calling out Isaiah's nonsense about Draymond's lack of focus.

Oh-well, looks like another Championship for GSW, having a good big man in grinding playoff basketball is still important.

all you need to beat BOS is a defender as good as Wiggins.

We should get someone like that.

Am I the only one surprised by how invisible Otto Porter has largely been with GS? All those years we talked about how the Wiz were holding him back as a result of poor play. He's in the *perfect* situation there, and yet he's still the same low usage, high efficiency player he's always been.

He's been banged up and looks really slow. But his playoff numbers are solid: 5.3ppg, 38.6% 3pt, 48.6% FG, 3.6rpg, 1.9apg.

I thought Otto gave good minutes in Game 1, Game 4 too.

Defensively he's been pretty good.

He hasn't hit many shots, but he's starting for a reason. Kerr trusts him not to make major mistakes and make the smart play.

Just sayin’….

“Andrew Wiggins shared that it means a lot to him that Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala is ‘putting his body on the line’ to make an impact on the court in the NBA Finals.”

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/video/warriors-andrew-wiggins-motivated-andre-iguodala-playing-through-injury

The reason these Warriors sometimes look lost out there is because they are mostly beta males and kids without the calming confidence of a Livingston or Iggy on the court. And one of the main reasons they are still going to win, despite injuries, beta, kids and Green acting the fool as always is Iggy helping to keep them together.

Drafting a bunch of kids doesn’t matter if you don’t have the direction and leadership to develop them. Betcha if they had David West still you’d see more development from their young bigs.

I guess you missed the word “mostly.” Wiggins isn’t a beta male, but he certainly is not a leader either.

Porter has been terrific for most of the playoffs, but he has fallen off a bit in this series. Tatum torched him in Game 5.

Oh for sure. I think my main question is: Would you pay him MLE money based off what he's shown this year? It's just a weird situation for a guy who constantly comes in, has a great TS, is a really smart player that does so many things well, but might still be in sub MLE territory.
