Now that said, some of these pranksters if the pranks are real, are complete trash people, and go WAY too far. I don't think that applies here. Most of his pranks are only minor intrusions and mostly good natured. If you really are butt hurt over that, it's a you issue.

You're picking an issue of something that is of opinion. Fact is, I think most creators do really annoying things that people find funny, and will watch. THIS, intrudes on the people working there and that's just getting started.

Micro niches are what the world of entertainment is going towards. I have a youtube channel where I talk about expensive whisky with 3k subs (rounding up lol). Some of those people take what I have to say very seriously. The other 99.99999% of the world doesn't give even the slightest crap what I have to say. That's how it should be.

Pranks are huge on Youtube especially since Youtube caters heavily to the under 20 demographic, they think even the cruel pranks are **** hilarious.

Exactly! That said this guy has videos nearing 100 million views and over a billion total views on his videos. Wouldn't even shock me THAT much if my mother saw one of his videos...ok maybe a little.

Even if we were to talk about major actors and actresses in today's society, if they're under 40, are they even THAT famous vs 20 years ago? Buddy of mine runs a pretty huge youtube channel that discusses comic books and he'd had some MEGA stars (so he tells me) on there. Apparently Ed Hardy (I think that's right, he's a lead in one of the comic book movies I don't watch) is a really big deal, I'd never heard of him. Now Morgan Freeman, yeah that had my jaw drop. This all ties back into why NBA ratings and all TV ratings are dropping. We increasingly get to live in our own little entertainment bubbles.
