If he doesn't pay Ayton, we need to make that hotline bling.

Re: Sarver ESPN story
It's begins.........hopefully
Melissa Fender Panagiotakopoulos, who began working for the Suns in August 2007, sent a resignation email on May 20 to 16 members of the ownership group, including majority owner Robert Sarver, challenging them to address what she said is a toxic and misogynistic workplace culture.

First step of the summer to get this POS removed. God willing......

Someone remind me but I thought the Mavericks front office story was pretty toxic as well but there weren't many if any calls for Cuban's removal? What's different between the two cases?

Disney owns ESPN. Former CEO of Disney, Iger... wants to own the Phoenix Suns. He has a lot of pull with Disney and ESPN honchos.

I found this woman on social media and she has old posts saying that she is happy to be working for the Suns. Pretty weird stuff.

I forget how powerful some of these people are sometimes. Watched Top Gun last night and read the wiki page after and it said after things lined up, Cruise picked up the phone and called the head honcho at Paramount like he has a direct line to the bloke to get the movie made. Dude is so powerful, he could get a sequel to 30 year old movie greenlit with just one phone call.
I wouldn't mind the Suns being owned by Iger. That said, he's not exactly billionaire rich

A lot of the Sarver stuff points to Sarver. Most of the Cuban stuff didn't really directly point to him I don't think. There were Sarver comments from employees Watson saying he said N word, pictures of wife in bathing suit passed around meetings, ridiculing and depantsing people at work parties, etc.
Cuban's environment was weird stuff like a guy watching porn at work and being referred to as pants DJ.

We'll find out soon. Season is over come Sunday at the latest, so they'll probably wait till after the draft and release the report. Guess we'll see how connected Bill Simmons really is as he has been swearing up and down on his podcast for months that it's big and the hammer is coming down on Booby.
If it happens I'm hoping we get a mega billionaire. Give me Larry Ellison and his 80B net worth please.

Re: Sarver ESPN story
There's been so much smoke about Sarver being a clueless jackass who fosters a toxic environment there has to be some fire.
If Bob survives this I may have to evaluate how much mental energy I want to invest in supporting this team. Not only because off the off court **** but with Bob here there's always this lingering fear he's going to **** the on court product with his meddling and cheap ways.
Having a bad owner is the worst thing for a sports fan. We don't get to pick them and when you have bad a GM, coach, or players it's relatively temporary. A bad owner can be there for decades.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

If he survives this he might be even more emboldened to be a ****. Like maybe he thinks he can get Booker for a cheaper deal or he decides to be like Jerry Jones (minus the spending) and get more involved in the day to day running of the team. Who knows what he's capable of.

Re: Sarver ESPN story
I really thought this would have been released a day or two after the finals. I now expect it to come out, if not tomorrow, then a couple days after the draft. I hope it comes out before FA and that he is ousted. That would be funny if they had a bad Ayton trade in the works and the league canceled it "for basketball reasons".

Re: Sarver ESPN story
If they had the info and evidence to oust sarver, wouldn't it look pretty bad to wait on releasing it? I say they have nothing to report or else they would have done it in a timely fashion.bwgood77 wrote:I really thought this would have been released a day or two after the finals. Re: Sarver ESPN story
Weirdly, Sarver has behaved pretty good over the past two yrs, team meddling wise….. but he’s a Dick and eventually Dicks piss on the wrong person. Hard to imagine a new owner as being a negative thing
What ? Me Worry ?

I don't know who this is but it's interesting she comes from the league office. I'm sure she knew the outcome of the investigation before taking the gig.

This is nothing but $arver's half-assed way of trying to seem more diverse.
I mean all of those things that are in the report have to fake now that he hired this woman. I mean obviously right???????
Booby is scum and needs to fired from a cannon away from this team....and into an actual sun.
