Interesting factoid:

For his junior season, (Eason) transferred to Federal Way High School in Federal Way, Washington, where he played alongside top recruit Jaden McDaniels.

You may call it coach speak, but this same type of thing said here about Eason has been said about former draft picks like LaVine and Edwards. Bet on gym rats.

“The best quality he's got, is usually when kids have success, they relax,” Wade said. “And the more success he's had, the harder he's worked. He was back in here working at 11 at night after the Alabama game. The more success he has, the harder he works, which is usually the exact opposite.”

I’m not the biggest fan, but I was shocked he weighed in at only 217. He looks and plays bigger.

And as far as height, he’s incredibly long for that height (think Draymond Green) with gigantic hands.

Believe me, I've read the scouting reports, I've watched videos, I've seen all the measurements. I'm looking for a jaron Jackson type not a grant Williams type

JJJ types aren't available at 19, let alone in the 2nd round.

You honestly seem to have unrealistic expectations for what they're able to do.

My hope is that if Duren/Williams don’t slide on draft day, we go after Hartenstein in free agency. Elite rim protection and passing from a big man. Might be happy playing 25 minutes with and behind Towns.

Reid cannot be our #2 big. Leaves us with no rim protection.

So odds are pretty strong one of these guys will be the pick at 19. I think Jovic would be about the only other prospect to have a chance in the Top 20.

Absolutely. You don't get JJJ types at 19 barring either incredible luck or flat out genius.

Then you find another position to draft. What the Wolves are able to do or willing to do? They are able to do a lot, including what they should. However, we will see what they are willing to do soon.

There's about a handful of those green room guys I don't want at 19. I still think we should be looking at BPA no matter what. If there's a potential star take them.

Duren or Mark Williams would be so nice, too bad they will be gone in all likelyhood.

Seeing multiple mocks now with Jalen Williams and Eason off the board by pick 19, kinda my worst case scenario. Also worried the same thing happens at 40 with a bunch of nice players going off the board, because I'm seeing a lot of my pick 40 hopefuls getting mocked late 20s or 30s.

Eason, Liddel & Hardy are my top 3 for pick 19 in that order.

I'd look to package 2 out of our 3 2nd round picks to get higher in rd 2 and take Roddy. That'd be a dope draft.

I’d support Eason but I suspect he will go top 10 in this draft. I like him more than Murray, who some are mocking at 4 to Kings. Ironically, Eason would be better fit for them. If he’s at 19 seems like a no brainer for us.

Agreed on Reid.

Honestly I think we need to be way more aggressive than just upgrading him though. The West is going to get significantly tougher next season and we need to act accordingly.

Yes on Eason and Hardy, can’t see Connelly being interested in a really undersized big like Liddell at 19.

Well... Connelly paid an undersized Paul Millsap 100 mil for 4 yrs.
