Curry has never been robbed. KD was the better player in 17 and 18. And in 15, Iggy changed the series by going into starting lineup and then he hit all the big shots throughout those last couple games. He was the obvious choice. Curry tends to fade when the games get more important. Look at Game 7 in 2016 (look at Game 5 the other night!). He can't answer Kyrie. Locked down by Kevin Love. Curry is most effective when his team is up 10 to 12 points. Then, with the pressure off, he can bury the opposition with threes. Then he dances and acts like he's a badass.
Yeah, no. He has always been his team's best player, in every finals game.
You can disagree if you want, but please don't use weak narratives such as "hitting the big shots" or "tends to fade".
As far as I know, Curry should have 3 FMVPs already because he's always been the most VALUABLE player for the Warriors. Not the guy who scored the most points, not the best defender. But when it comes to value and impact, neither Iggy nor KD were real competition. No Curry, no system. It's that easy.
And as I said, you can disagree if you want, I won't try to debate your points and I'm not looking forward to anyone trying to debate mine. It's a matter of opinion, and mine is set in stone.
