Yeah but Curry said he was not disappointed when he was drafted by the Warriors and it worked out very well for him :D

That shows that teams should just pick the player if they think he's BPA regardless of the noise.

Are you going to say it is a kinda forgettable playoff year if your Lakers are in the playoffs?

Some teams act like you can't trade players later

100%. we all knew how this series would play out after game 4. No need to watch games 5-6 at all. The level of play in the finals was so bad to watch with all the turnovers and flopping from both teams. Least interesting finals and playoffs since I’ve been following the NBA.

Sure 2020 wasn’t as nice as 2010 game 7 against Boston winning at home .

Official tally for your Finals MVP:

31 pts 6 rbs 5 asts 2 stls (2.5 TO) on 48/44/86 (63% TS)

Against a legend level D with the DPOY as his personal mark. Unreal.

I suspect that most players who say no to a team (I know Steph didn't do that) won't stand their ground on it*

*I know Steve Francis did it, but that's rare.

I think the Celtics "Legendary" defense is overstated, but Curry's great. His shooting is amazing.

That's his trajectory, and he's in that conversation now. Make no mistake, Kerr is an incredible coach and leader, and way too often overlooked on here. Sure they had the personnel to make it happen, but that's a prerequisite of all great coaches.

I'm not a big Kerr fan but...

Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Red Auerbach, Gregg Popovich...who is #5?

The knee-jerk reactionism is bordering near cringeworthy. Steph has played on some of the greatest NBA teams in history. He’s not a one man show, most of his teams were absolutely stacked
We're talking about this one, bucko.
