Golden State played with a lot of poise and played hard every possession. They deserve this win and all of the praise that comes with being champions. Hopefully the C’s learned a lesson on poise under pressure and the things that champions do when the game is on the line. That wouldn’t make this series a total loss.
These are evenly matched teams talent wise. Difference is, Kerr is a HOF coach and Ime has ways to go. Experience played bigger role if anything.
That’s the thing. An inexperienced team and coach very likely short of their peak. Reminds me of 2015 GSW who still had to adjust when down 2:1 to win the title even with LeBron playing something of a lone hand.

boston might be the worst finals probably the weakest. gs wouldnt have won title if miami or bucks were there.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Well if you see it that way, than maybe you right. Not sure i completely agree here. GSW was a vet team with multiple all stars on board. S.Dot, Iggy, Zaza etc brought that depth that took them over the hump. To say they still were inexperienced is a push for me tbh.

The Warriors were incredible. I really thought the days of them shooting consistently and defending that well were behind them.
Their defense was simply excellent, their ball movement, their role players stepped up big as the series unfolded.
I never thought they could beat Boston considering how much Klay and Green have regressed- but guys like Wiggins and Poole stepped up- as did Curry. Kerr is a brilliant coach who will never get enough credit for how good his adjustments are.
I feel like the best team beat the 2nd best team for a championship. It sucks to lose as a Celtics fan but the Warriors really deserved this one.
Congrats Warriors fans.
ps. As well as Wiggins played, I think it's a travesty if Steph didn't wins Finals MVP lol. The dude was a flame thrower and so freakin clutch over, and over and over. I think Wiggins was great too, but Steph's finals was one of those finals where a single player stands out so much more than anyone else it's criminal to not give him the FMVP.

Zaza wasn’t there then and the adjustment included benching Bogut. It was Kerr’s rookie year as a coach in general let alone in the play-offs. Sure S Dot and Iguodala brought veteran experience, and Andre was crucial even winning FMVP of course.

Yep, the Warriors were also the 1st that understood that Boston was going to defend them tough, but instead of worrying about how to score, they simply looked for Boston's weaknesses and were able to make Tatum a liability on offense. They showed a tremendous amount of poise.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Garbage
Celtics Would NOT have beaten Bucks if they had their second best player the whole series or Miami if they werent completely banged up
Tatum and co went missing when the spotlight was brightest. Abysmal

My bad brain fart moment with Bogut. Still, Kerr took his lumps as a GM ( which he admitted later ) and pretty much knew at that point what coaching is all about. Did he overachieved, probably so. It's just he got all the help along to be successful.
Correct if I'm wrong here cuz im a little drinky ( I'm on using my free days. Use it or lose it situation ). Kyrie got hurt during finals right? And there was no Love because Olynic dislocated his shoulder. If I'm correct than of course it was perfect storm here. Can't recall their names but he also had better ast coaches around him.
There's one thing about GSW. They always get best/better ast coaches all the time.

Correct, that is why I said LeBron was playing something of a lone hand, and even then GSW needed to adjust their game plan.
I wonder if Tatum was injured, and Williams definitely was obviously. GSW had the perfect guys to defend Tatum though which other teams did not.

We should have had fake Klay out there. He basically looked like him out there. Hopefully, next season helps him get back to at least 75% of what he once was. I miss that Klay.

Thats a lot of could've would've should've here. I can chip in that theory too. What if Kyrie wasn't dumb ass, Steve Trash could actually coach and Ben and Joe Harris been healthy, than what? Guess what, no one cares.

Rob Williams missed 4 games in the Bucks series and Marcus Smart missed 2.
Horford also missed one game.

YEP and the bucks missed their critical right hand man to Giannis. Would have been a very very different story if he was available
