Warriors fans and Curry stans just don't behave like this. Throughout all of the slumps that Thompson has had.... Green has had...Wiggins has had...

You just never see a million impulse threads about instantly trading away players.

Whether you see it or not, Curry fans/Warriors fans actually believe that Curry can make it work despite the roster while Lebron stans KNOW that he can't win without a fully stacked deck.

Great sarcasm. I enjoyed it.

LeBron is the better player overall, but I'd much rather build a team around Curry. He's the cornerstone of my franchise.

Not in this era...we use to be able to appreciate different players equally, but now in this time of social media, clout chasing, ring chasing, we don't respect all players like we use to.

I mean what about all the posts about Wilt and Russell playing against plumbers to boost up the modern era. We talk about how the athletes are much better now, can shoot much better now...I didn't see that last night. I saw a lot of turnovers and bad basketball.

Saying all that, I respect what Steph has done far more than what Lebron has done. Sticking with a process and seeing it through is far more satisfying than all the wreckage Lebron has caused. It shows you can win without having to trade away your whole future or team hopping.....

It helps a lot when you draft much better than the cavs of the 2003 to 2010 period and your owner can pay a huge luxury tax year after year like the warriors right now....

Players like Kobe and Curry have been in a great situation from day one and it's easier to trust the process than if you would have been in a franchise like Charlotte....

He is 37 at this point and he can't healthy since the moment a scrub like Solomon Hill jump in his leg in 2021

Curry is basically one of the GOAT franchise players

him and Tim Duncan are probably the only two in this category. Michael deserves dues but by the end of the Bulls dynasty things were being held together with basically duct tape.

Curry and Duncan just elevate their teammates and give into a culture of winning. They never had issues with the coaches, GMs, owners, FO, etc. Just showed up and played their best with the roster provided. Didn't matter if it was an up or down year, they endured with the franchise and it paid off.

I'd say that eventually Giannis could come into the company of Curry and Duncan. But you look at guys like..Magic, Larry Bird, now Curry, Tim Duncan. These are the franchise GOATs, they gave everything to the franchise and through the up and down years never waivered in their commitment. It's actually a knock against Kobe in that he wanted to be traded from LA at one point.

Does this mean that LeBron's infamous decision is a complete disaster now? A complete mistake? No, LeBron did the right thing, as proven by Andrew WIggins in this finals, players still need to be with the RIGHT franchise to be a winning player. Cleveland was not giving LeBron what he was due. Now when LeBron came back in 2015 Cleveland completely proved they were about their business immediately trading young guys and picks aggressively to get win now guys, to get LeBron some of the best teams he ever played with. By 2018 things kind of wound down. I would say though that LeBron might have a bit more respect if he stayed a 2 franchise guy between Miami and Cleveland rather than going to the Lakers. Basically he went to the Lakers and forced the same thing that Cleveland did but the success has been far less and this isn't HIS franchise like Cleveland truly was. LeBron joined as an outsider and expected the royal carpet and it kind of blew up for him.

Health again......This is the fact. The lakers were fourth in the west before his groin injury.....The cavs would not make the playoffs in 2018 if he would have the same problem and missing so many game....

Outside of Wiggins who become good just since last year, who was the other major assets that the cavs have traded to improve their team between 2014 to 2018?

Steph Curry and Lebron now have the same amount of titles at 4....and Curry is 3-1 against Lebron in the Finals.

The 2015*, 2016 and 2022* were not super teams by any stretch of the imagination.

This years championship is more impressive than any title that Lebron has accomplished based on the supporting cast.

*Denotes NBA Champion

C'mon....It was more that Curry vs LBJ in his finals...I mean just in 2016,Curry was awful,LeBron was legendary on offense and defense and the finals were still close.....

2016 was 6 years ago. Since that Finals loss Curry has won 3 more NBA Titles.
He now has 2 NBA titles without Kevin Durant. point being that Lebron fans need to get over 2016.

The Warriors have won titles with Harrison Barnes, Kevin Durant and Andrew Wiggins at the power forward spot.
Barnes and Wiggins are considered somewhat average....but when they play with Curry they end up being NBA Champions.

Curry has 2 titles playing with a way more talented team then Lebron ever had, and the 2015 title is easier then Lebron ever had.

As for conference play, 2016 is the only year Curry had a tough trip to the finals

Yeah it's not like curry even had an opportunity to force his way out, and I doubt Lebron would in a similar situation.

His first contract extension he was injury prone borderline all star. He signed his supermax when they had just won a title and Durant and the rest of the core still on the team. His last extension he signed they weren't a super team but still in a great position

LeBron is top 3 of all time.
Curry is top 10-12 of all time after this season.

The era belongs to LeBron and Curry both. Bird and Magic had the 80s. LeBron and Curry have had 2012-2022.

Only reason curry succeeded is because nba changed the rules and stopped enforcing moving screens on gsw. Even bogut admitted they got away with stuff other teams wouldn’t

More Durant/Curry/Klay than only Curry. Durant was the man on that team. Yes, the team was extremely top heavy, but it was 3 dudes in their prime, 2 of which were/are top 5 players and Klay was top 20 for sure.
Good assessment:

Also, if you're comparing Curry and LeBron using titles, it's going to be tough to use 2015 because LeBron was so clearly the better player that he finished higher in the FMVP voting than Curry, from the losing team. That's actually unheard of in the modern age.

Everyone can get on the recent wave, but Steph Curry isn't as good as Lebron. The Warriors are this generation's Spurs aka an amazing squad with HOF talent and Lebron is this generation's best player like Kobe and Jordan before him.

That fact doesn't take away from Steph or the Warrior's greatness, but it is still a fact. Duncan is arguably one of the best PF ever, Steph is the best SG/PG combo. Neither of those players are as good as Lebron was in his prime or over the entire career. I'm not even a Lebron stan either its just clear.

There’s no reason why two players can’t share an era. Kobe and Duncan dominated the 2000’s, won an equal amount of championships and I think I can speak for spurs fans when I say both the Laker and Spurs fan bases had great respect for each other

The only difference is that Lebron had to hop from team to team to get his chips rather then the other guys. If he stuck with Miami or something I think this conversation would be much less toxic

One player usually doesn't dominate a decade solely by themselves. MJ is the last guy to dominate a whole entire decade which was obviously the 90's. '00s was dominated by Duncan, Shaq, Kobe. When I look at the 2010's it is LeBron, Curry, Durant. I don't see Curry being the player of this decade. With that being said Lebron was the best out of his contemporaries.

is this a joke question...2015 JR Smith and Shumpert trade

2018 MASSIVE overhaul, IT, DRose, Jae Crowder, etc. to get Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr, George Hill, Rodney Hood

Plus the Cavs actually spending the exact same insane amount as the Warriors in 2017 to build a better squad than the team that won in 2016.

I think its hilarious that now we have Lebron fans.
Using the tired lame rangz, mvp, fmvp excuse they accused Jordan fans of using.
