I'm taking Green

But Bosh is the most versatile and would be a good player on any team.

Dennis and Dray need to be surrounded with particular talent and fit

Its a very tight comparison. I think I prefer Green honestly.

Green's a much better defender than Bosh and a much better offensive player than Rodman. Bosh was at his best as a 3rd option so I don't feel like having Green as the 4th/5th guy that can be your lead or 1B orchestrator in a half court offense is that huge of a drop off offensively from Bosh. I was only like 10ish when Rodman was with the Bulls and that was the end of his career so I only have stats, videos, and stories to go off of. Both players were elite defensively and historically some of the most versatile defenders of all time.

It's all very close though and I'd like Green to have 2-3 more seasons at his current level for me to say without a doubt he's who I'd take, but thats who I'm going with today.

I actually think Dray and Rod are quite similar as players. Both are extremely valuable but both could go haywire in the wrong environment. By contrast I love Bosh as a player and think he fits basically everywhere but he isn't quite the ceiling raiser these two are in the right spot.

Rodman is better than Green or Bosh

People have to understand Rodman was grabbing 20+ boards and playing elite defense in many games

Maybe. He's no slam dunk to make it but I think he has a shot. The basketball HOF is not really that exclusive.

I think Rodman is a safer choice in that (IMO) his skills (and value therein) are more generalizable across teams/contexts than Draymond and are probably a touch less variant and more consistent.

Bosh is not a good comparison as he is more a 2nd option who was forced to play the 3rd option/role player due to being in a team with LeBron and Wade. If I have a mediocre team, I would take Bosh. If I have a team with 2+ all-stars or 1 real superstar, I would not take Bosh.

Draymond and Rodman are the top of the top when it comes to role players, and you can't go wrong with either of them in your team as they can impact the game without scoring, mainly with their defense and toughness. In the modern era, I would go with Draymond due to his better shooting and versatility.

Bosh right after LeBron left Miami and before he got sick was looking absolutely incredible.

Bosh had waaaaaaaay more talent then green and Rodman combined.

people forgot that bosh was no slouch on defense. I would easily take bosh over Green and Rodman. It's a weird thread. 1 of these players is not like the others.

He's a lock even more so than Bosh was. He's been a key player for an era defining team. Curry, Klay and Green are all going in.
