Ive been a Chet guy all year but Ive talked myself into Jabari. I might even be leaning Jabari. And I even talked myself into being okay with Paolo

So the only way you can disappoint me Weltman is if you trade both 2nd round picks.

I think if anything they take Jabari number 1 and tade down for Keegan Murray. We'll see what happens if they trade the pick.

Heard a rumor that the Magic are inviting some Auburn alumni to the draft.

No doubt that he can shoot. He might be one of the best shooter in college I have ever seen. However, what else he can do with his game? He seldom took the ball to the basket. If he didn’t do it in college, then I am not sure if he can do that in NBA.

If you notice on almost all his shots the defenders were heavily guarding the paint. So Jabari was taking what the defense was giving him. Auburn had no shooters besides Smith.

He didn't play under the basket so he didn't get any easy putbacks to increase his numbers down low. His defensive rebounding numbers are good, so he's capable.

Jabari and Franz at the forward spots...Let's go...so complementary. I just don't see the same fit with the others. The limitations people are imposing on him are unfounded. He's not some Kyle Korver stand in the corner guy-so much of Auburn's offense was initiated through him in the high post-he's agile and very long. The video above has Dirk written all over it. Was Reggie Miller a great dribbler? The guy is a weapon and fit DOES matter. We can't keep drafting guys that step on each others' games and act surprised when none of them play to their potential. A versatile long-range bomber will make everyone look better.

I watched Jabari alot this year and people saying he's just a spot up shooter are dead wrong. He absolutely can create his own shot cause he can just shot over guys. The issue however is he didn't show he can break down a defender and create space with his handles before he fires. For the most part this video doesn't prove that wrong. Alot of these he dribbles 1 or 2 times and takes and makes a highly contested shot. Now that's not a bad thing. Its a great thing that he can make those kinda shots. The one at the 1:33 mark is absolutely special. But for him to be successful he's gonna have to shot it at an elite level. Which he absolutely could. The reason I personally have Paolo ahead of him is Paolo can break down a defender and create space and make tough shots. He also has a physicality to his game where if the shot aint falling he can bully his way to the rim. On top of that there is some serios playmaking upside with Paolo. I'm also wondering about Jabaris ability to get to the line at the next level. Without looking at the number Jabari did get to the line a bunch when I watched him but alot of them were guys fouling him on jump shots. Now that could continue to happen in the NBA as guys foul jump shooters all the time but I'd bet that Paolo will get to the line alot more with his style of play. Defensively Palo solid in one on one defense. (Off ball he's horrific) So I see what Paolo can do when his shot aint falling. Im having trouble seeing that with Jabari. Id still be happy if we drafted Jabari but Id go Paolo.

Well, what did you expect from an OFF THE DRIBBLE JUMPERS video?

A lot of people were suggesting there wasn't any content for a hypothetical Jabari "Off the Dribble" video

Wonder what Auburn alumni the Magic invite to the draft? Charles Barkley, Chuck Person, Bo Jackson, or Cam Newton? Pretty sure they'll invite Pearl.

That would be the biggest bait and swith in history. If the rumors are true that the Magic are inviting Auburn alumni I think it's a 100% chance that we pick Smith.

If you´re the Magic, you ´re not limiting yourself to the top3. Why not Jaden Ivey? I think they should look at everybody. Ultimately, I think, if I was them I would lean toward Smith or Banchero. But they should explore every options they have. This draft is not a 1992 one. There´s not someone like Shaq. It´s more like 1993.

Did you actually HEAR the rumor, by word of mouth, or get it from the same podcast I heard it mentioned?

I cannot remember a time I was so undecided on who to draft. I still haven't voted.

My heart says Jabari
My gut says Chet
My brain says Paolo

Gonna be a little weird when Cole is celebrating our pick in NYC and then gets traded.
