I don't know if I've ever done as much a 180 on a player as I have on Banchero. The more I watch his old games, the more impressed I am with his versatility as a playmaker and scorer. He's obviously not the most efficient of the 3 big men discussed, but his ability to handle and make simple reads and pass out of different situations stands out. And at his size, he kind of reminds me a lot of Franz Wagner. Having two of those guys who can handle, pass, get to the basket, and shoot would be such a boon. I think he's going to be really good and on Saturday, June 18th, I think he'd be my pick.

Did we assume that we haven't worked out Palo yet? With the sudden declaration of Sharpe saying he worked out for us, I won't be shocked if all the top-10 suddenly say they already worked out for us. lol

If Orlando trades down to #3, whatever PF is on the board is Orlando's selection. It is the same as Smith not working out for Houston. If he is available there, Houston drafts him.

I just listened to an interview with PB on sirius xm nba radio and paolo said he's worked out for hou and okc but "still in talks with Orlando trying to get that figured out"

i dont buy Houston wanting Banchero. they just drafted Sengun last year. they need a defensive presence or shooter more than Banchero. they have Kevin Porter and Jalen Green handling the ball.

At this point, you gotta lean in towards it being smoke. HOU knows it has no control over which of the top-3 it gets. However, if they do like one or two of them, they could always try to make some noise to try to be able to get who they want to drop.
