Just get Hartenstein. He plays if the situation and match up calls for it. There arent many big dominant centers left in the NBA anymore. Majority of the big men (yes, even Gobert) can be neutralized by having Christian Wood hanging around outside the paint. So for that, you do not need to spend too much for a backup big.

Plus Hartenstein played very well with Harden in that small stint when he was in Rockets uniform.

Man, people are high on Hartenstein.
What about Mitch Rob? Too expensive?

Hartenstein is playing like Maxi. If you're looking at Mitchell, you can get similar impact with significantly less price in Biyombo or McGee. I'd rather create a situation to be able to offer 40M per in 2023.

Just think about Wiggins as part of Mavs roster. Or GSW has to handicap the cap for a less competitive roster.

Think he expects more then the 6m mavs can offer. Not that he is worth more but...

And he played almost for free, like brunson, for 4 years now. Injury prone and no great skills. He should take as much money as someone offers and run with it

I think Looney will receive offers for 10/12M per year.

Claxton could be cheaper.

Any FA signing will cost 5.25 his salary, I'm not sure there are players who justify that, which sucks I would gladly pay the full TPMLE for Hartenstein or Garry Harris.

He looked like that in DEN, but he had a good season in ORL.

I like Gary Harris but I think with our current roster construction we would want a guy with more size.

I was thinking that they might offer a trade for him if they could do so.

No, he isn`t.

Maxi is a great defender especially after switching against smaller players. On the offensive end he prefers to space the floor and shoot the three ball. Hartenstein was considered a three point threat in europe but started to lower his attempts during his stay in Kaunas and things got even worse in the NBA. Isaiah is a really good (!) passer in the high and low post and a bit more of a lob thread since he is a bit more athletic than Maxi. Hartenstein often was a centerpiece for the secondary squad in Cleveland and showed flashes of really good assist numbers.

I don't think Martin can enter the rotation.

I'd be interested if KMart Jr. is 6'10 or 6'11.
