How do you put 16 LBJ over 00 or 01 Shaq? Or 92/93 MJ?

29-11-9 on 56% TS

Vs

38-17-2 on 61% eFG

vs

33-16-5 on 58% TA

Shaq was getting those stats through double teams, while lbj was playing against Warriors with injured Iggy/Bogut...

That wasn't just "29/11/9 on 56% TS".... it was 29.8/11.3/8.9 with 2.6 spg and 2.3 bpg on 56% TS against a SEVENTY THREE WIN TEAM.

My God this is an all-time post on RealGM. You're trying to frame their respective oppositions as Shaq facing the stronger ones... When in truth Shaq faced below average Finals teams in Indy and Philly if we're being real, compared to the single greatest regular season team of all time for LeBron.

LeBron in 2016 had the greatest Finals performance of all time, it's not even a debate.

That's a pretty hilarious of you to call it an 'all-time take' to notice Shaq was clearly statistically better, despite playing in a less efficient era with less spacing and slower pace....

while you simultaneously claiming LBJ as the greatest finals performance of all time, "it's not even a debate" rofl....

Let's put it this way: Draymond was suspended in the Finals for ALMOST kicking LBJ. If Draymond was suspended in game 5 for ACTUALLY kicking Steven Adams, Warriors would've been eliminated in the semi-finals in 5 games.

All of his tweets was after game 5 and before game 6....

Iggy was playing in the entire finals and the cavs were an awful matchup for Bogut

I've seen worse injuries than this...Just to look at the 2015 finals....

Yea, the 2015 finals were worse. That's why the Cavs got stomped.

Iggy played through his injuries, and his defense fell off. Bogut was their starting Center - he was a key part of their defense, despite not being in the lineup of death.

Draymond missing game 5 was huge. That took away the homecourt advantage the warriors had... because of a kick in the direction of Lebron. Draymond kicked Steven Adams in the balls twice, HARD, and didn't get ejected. Then he got ejected because of a kick in the direction of LBJ?

That's not a "3-1 comeback", it's a "here's a free win and the big homecourt advantage removed"

It's probably a top 5 finals performance. I'd have Curry's as top 10.

Top 5? You'd have to put it over 2016 LeBron, and a few out of first threepeat MJ and threepeat Shaq. Which three of those seven is Giannis better than?

Not to mention Kareem, Wilt in 67, Duncan in 03, and a bunch of others.

Except they didn't, it was very competitive until they ran out of gas despite being quite outmatched. The series outcome was never in question once Kyrie went down but they made it interesting.

And yea there were some extenuating circumstances that gave the Cavs a much higher chance of winning then they would've had, but Lebron was insane, it's definitely one of the best finals performances ever.

The warriors were still up 3-2.The warriors had not lost 3 games in a row since 2013 before this finals. The odds were against the cavs big time. For the injuries, this is part of the game.Every year injuries happen and Iggy was still playing and the cavs were just a bad matchup for Bogut

Yea, the only thing that changed was Homecourt Advantage and 2 of the Warriors 6 main players were injured. No question it was a comeback, and a great series from LeBron. But, UNDEBATABLY the greatest finals of any player ever? I think that's a bit of a funny take.

Curry was great, but this is Giannis for me. He had a more dominant series and heavily impacted both sides of the court.
