When Duncan is on, he is great. He played solid defense in game 6 against Boston as he was very aggressive. Just not sure if he sustains that level of playing all the time on both ends. Most definitely not worth his contract, but can be a positive in the right environment.

I agree. MIA needs to add, but I like the basis of this...Robinson is 28, healthy, not likely to age out of his style of play anytime soon, and in a "bad" year, he shot .372 on very high volume from 3. He might be an overpaid specialist at $16m/avg per year through 25-26, there are also some incentives that will be difficult for him to meet to get the full amount. It's not like a Westbrook or Wall deal, as some assume. If we could get back two late firsts over the next few years (including this years #27), I don't think it's unfair to give them significant cap relief, #35 and TRoss. We'd still have enough to bring back Harris (or similar value) and maybe fill out roster with MCW. I'd rather use our cap space for bigger game...but, we could do a lot worse than bolster our shooting and focusing on our young core.

That's a lot of shooting all of a sudden - for a team at the bottom of the shooting rankings the last few years. #26 & 32 might get us Wendell Moore, Dalen Terry, Walker Kessler, Nembhard, etc. I don't mind 2 "extra" rookies if they're not counted on this year.

WCJ, Isaac,#32(Kessler/Koloko?)
Jabari, Okeke, M. Wagner
Franz, Robinson, #26 (Moore/Terry?)
Harris, Anthony, RJ
Fultz, Suggs, MCW

I said a while ago that, rather than resign Harris, the FO would go out and look for another Harris-type deal where we get shooting while earning an asset.

This proposed deal is exactly the kind of trade I was talking about. If not this one, something very like this will happen.
