5 I think...Presti likely gonna try to make an offer but Detroit will pick him.

2-5 is Ivey's range.

Correct. I am Sure Sam will offer him #12 and their FRP back. But Cade and Ivey backcourt is perfect. They could even keep Grant if he wants to stay in Detroit.

Weaver/Presti war...don't like the odds with #12 against #5 :)

We all know there are tons of fake rumors or real rumors on picks/trades that won't happen. No clue why a draft scout is telling this.

Those prospects are real amateurs in interviews btw, another funny one:

well we won't know anything until draft night. I would say that our only chance to have a 12 to 4 move up is if we get to 8 or 7 in a trade before draft day because there are too many variables to make a deal happen with teams on the clock between 3 teams from 4 to 7-8 and 12.

More like,

“are you pregnant?”

“I’d have to have sex first.”

Maybe I'm wrong but I took his response to mean that he's definitely been in contact but he's not sure what he can share at the moment. Sounds like there has definitely been some flirtatious communication at the minimum.

I'm taking a mental leap of faith and jumping on the Jaden Ivey at any cost train

Weird fit, but the talent/athleticism is too much to pass. Chet is too much of a risk for me. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if we got Jabari Smith. I'll be optimistic about any of the top 4. See you guys Thursday.

Ivey at 2?

I don't mind it that much but I can't resist to pick Chet.

We're all kind of rehashing the same points until draft day comes, but part of me thinks Presti will secretly take a liking to Paulo. I've already said Ivey seems like a Presti prototype.

Picking the remaining player between Jabari and Chet is chalk and what people expect, but picking Ivey/Paulo wouldn't surprise me that much either.

Anyone outside of those 4 at #2 would be highly shocking.

Now stupid rumors that Houston trying to move up to 1 because they think OKC might take Banchero at 2. Don't get the benefit for OKC here...some smokescreen from Orlando?

If we can't trade for #4 to grab him then yes I'd prefer him at #2

Understandable stance since you're a Chet fan, but I just didn't see what the hype was about in the few games I watched + not sure about his frame. Much more confident in the other three.

I get the frame and the bust risk too. Think he's way underrated on defense but I understand those who don't want to gamble on him.

I think Ivey and Chet have the highest ceiling on this draft so I don't mind Ivey (would be nice to trade down to get additional asset though if we are going to draft him). I just really really don't Banchero but he's so high on many experts boards that I might be dead wrong about him.

From what I watched, he seemed like the most dynamic scorer of the 3. If you discount Jabari’s apparently otherworldly defense, banchero seems way more likely to me to be an offensive superstar if he improves his long ball. But…..you can’t discount the defense, of course. It’s a big deal.

If the Magic take Paolo what do we think about the Thunder going up to 3 with #12 and the two Rockets picks from the Westbrook trade.
