I wonder if Phoenix would sell an expiring Crowder for Green + #23. He'd be a decent fit next to Harris if we can't trade him. Follow that up with signing a guard for the MLE.

Harden/Milton/Springer
Maxey/(MLE)/Joe
Crowder/Thybulle/Korkmaz
Harris/Niang/(Vet min)
Embiid/Reed/Bassey
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

The Suns title window is very small and they already are losing Ayton. I can't see them trading away another starter for #23.

Sixers out: Harris, Thybulle, Danny Green, and rights to pick #23
Sixers in: THJ, Coby White, Bullock, and Bertans

Harden
Maxey
Bullock
Reed
Embiid
White-THJ-Niang-Bertans-Bassey, Korkmaz, Springer, Shake, Joe

+ Tax Payer MLE to sign a vet stretch 4/3&D forward. Could also try to package any combo of Niang, Korkmaz, Shake and Joe with a 2nd for a PF that fits. Should also be able to find a vet min C better than Bassey.

Mavs out: Kleber, THJ, Bertans, Bullocks and Powell
Mavs in: Harris, Vucevic and Danny Green

Bulls out: Vucevic and Coby White
Bulls in: Kleber, Thybulle, Powell and #23

I don't know if this one has been posted yet but I would definitely do it. I want to get the board's opinion on if they think Toronto would because I know they like to rob teams when they trade with them.

Raptors get:

Matisse Thibulle
Danny Green
Jaden Springer
Sixers 2022 FRP
Sixers 2024 FRP (top 5 protected)

Sixers get:

OG Anunoby
Delano Banton (or some other filler for depth)

Sixers starting lineup:

Harden
Maxey
Anunoby
Harris
Embiid

I think Anunoby is exactly the gettable player we need to have a contending team. Depth would be an issue though.

Thybulle to Chicago for T.E. and 2023 Portland 1st (it's lotto protected for a few years).

Bulls get a stud defender. Sixers get a future asset and shed a little bit of salary.

My dream trade is:

Tobias/Matisse/23 for Brogdon/Hield/#31

Draft Wendell Moore at 31

Maxey/Shake/Springer
Harden/Hield
Brogdon/Moore
Reed/Niang
Embiid/Bassey

Sign a forward with whatever version of the MLE we have

How crazy is this trade idea:

Rockets get:

Tobias Harris
Danny Green

Sixers get:

John Wall
Kenyan Martin Jr.
Usman Garuba

That’s nuts. Wall is getting bought out and will sign for vet minimum to a contender this year. Garuba is going to be part of their core rotation as a small ball center but he will take a couple years. Kenyan has no business joining a contender and would be a deep bench piece.

I'm sure Wall also hates Harden after he left him out to dry.

What's funny is that I posted this trade on a Rockets forum and they hate it as well. They want nothing to do with Harris' salary.

Vuc is the best player in the trade and would leave us without a real center. No thanks.

Meanwhile they are fine with Fertitta buying out Walls contract for nothing. At least Tobias would represent a neutral or even positive asset next year. It’s really just this year he is upside down and Danny is recovering. Both would be a influential as leaders and a vet presence and help a lot when they are ready to make the playoffs should they keep them. They would make that trade every day of the week if offered.

I think part of the issue is that Harris is actually a good player and they plan on tanking again this year. Also in year 2 of Harris' contract, they are counting on having a ton of cap space to start signing players so they can begin to win because their FRP that year belongs to OKC.

I get it.

Players who fit here that I'd trade Maxey for:

Kawhi, PG13, Durant, Giannis, LeBron?, Tatum, Brown, Steph, Luka, Ja, Trae, Booker, Mitchell, LaMelo, Ant, Cade, Haliburton?, Garland?

Of those, only Durant and Mitchell *might* become available.

Can you think of any others?

How many Tyrese Maxey Jerseys you have? Im guessing atleast 2. 1 for basketball games and another is for sleep wear.

As much as I hate Durant and love Maxey I’d still trade every positive asset+Harris salary for KD.

Harris + Maxey + Thybulle + Springer for KD

Embiid / Bassey
Tucker / Reed
KD / Niang
Melton / Joe
Harden / Milton

I get that it's a deal you'd have to make (I guess), but I just don't want a ring badly enough to sell my soul for it. I'd rather win or lose with a team I can like, and you subtract Maxey and add a mercenary like Durant and it would just feel so cheap. We would be more hated than those GS teams, and not even as sure a bet to win.
