The Official NBA Draft Thread 2021-2022

Post#1 » by Inigo Montoya » Tue Jun 21, 2022 12:49 pm

Hard to believe the draft is almost upon us (Thursday). I guess this is what happens when your team doesn't own a pick.

Still, the Jazz could trade in, and there are rumblings about the Jazz having a deal in principle with the Bulls.

Anyway, this thread is mostly for the draft night itself, where we can comment on every pick as it happens, but we might as well start posting here now.
Draft Nate Wolters - FAILED

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I really hope it’s not the Bulls, Danny will have lost his touch and his ass should be fired.
Ingles is cooked.

Yeah, I don't like them as trade partners either. To sum up the rumor, the deal is contingent upon the Bulls being able to make a move that nets them additional draft picks, so they can then trade to the Jazz.

I still think a deal could get done, but it's a very real possibility that every deal we make will have to contain some bad contracts.

If Pat Williams is not included then it better be 4 1sts at least.
Ingles is cooked.
