Heard it this morning on SirusXM NBA Radio, during their draft coverage. Believe it was Howard Beck.

ETA - no mention of the Bucks interest, though.

Roger that. I mean, it makes a ton of sense. He knows how important becoming a shooter will be for his success in the NBA and he thinks it's something he can do.

Rashad Vaughn?

Even he shot 38% from three on high volume.

He's still pretty young. He's only 25 years old.

Trade for Brissett, 31, 58.

Trade 58 for a future 2nd.

The Ringer compares him to Alex Caruso, Wesley Matthews, and Kevin Huerter. I think he has a lot of similarities to our current wing guys (and throw Donte in there too) but not necessarily a perfect comparison to any of them specifically.

Taller than any of them, though he has a small wingspan. Big time **** talker/confidence guy, feisty defender, jumps passing lanes for steals & breakaways, among the leaders in the country in dunks this past season. The short wingspan and shooting mechanics might limit the volume he shoots with, but he has the potential to be a good 3 point shooter, good defender, and willing to do the little things.

I mean, with a name like Christian Braun, you know he can mash.

Wow didn't realize he was so young. Still only half Thon's age.

Wes Matthews is a really good comp for him IMO.

Wes pre-achilles injury was a damn good player, if thats Braun then everyone should be on board.

I think the Wes comp for Braun is pretty solid. Don't see any similarities outside of height between him and Huerter though. Huerter's a better shot creation guy, better pure shooter, but worse defender and much worse rebounder. Gerald Henderson is a guy he (Braun) reminds me a lot of. Great vertical athlete and passable distance shooter on spot-ups, but I'm just not seeing anything special beyond a journeyman wing with a solid but unspectacular 7-8 year career.

I don't see the Huerter comp either personally. Some are kinda high on Braun as a passer after attacking closeouts, which was sort of similar to what we saw with Huerter in college, but I think Huerter is just a lot more comfortable with the ball in his hands than Braun is and as you said, Huerter just isn't the defender/rebounder that Braun is.

Braun has been one of my "hope-fors" since early on. He's a really good athlete, defender and rebounder as stated above. If he could shoot it just a little better, he'd be a lottery pick.

I'd draft him and hope to improve his shooting. He can contribute in the rotation from day one. Maybe not in the playoffs, but that's most rookies.

I also think he'll be gone before 24.

That's a damn good pull. Think he'd be fortunate to be as good as Henderson but totally reasonable track.

Burying the lede on at least one team passing on Giannis because he was *too soft*. Simply incredible. I bet Danny Ferry planted that seed.

With the report that we're potentially looking at trading up to 14 -- I'm ALL IN on Mark Williams if he's available

there are 2 dudes with 9'9"+ standing reaches that can move fluidly on the whole planet and the other one is Gobert

he also showed a lot of growth at Duke, and Brook is the perfect mentor for him
