Not sure which one of the rumors is true, Lol.

Both could be true. Knicks working to clear cap space for a player who isn’t interested in signing with the Knicks sounds about right

If this is true about Kings working out 1 fcking player.... they are worst than us.

May I present the one NBA owner that is worse than Dolan when it comes to running a franchise.

But they both have decent looking daughters.

If rumor is true about Noel, Burks and 11th pick for 7th... they would probably be 5 million away. If they add Reddish then they are now under 25 million to sign him outright.

If the Knicks can accomplish that goal, Dallas would probably do a S&T then. The last thing Dallas will want to do is lose Brunson for nothing.

I don’t think Portland is even considering that but even if something like that happened I don’t see why he would leave Luka and Dallas to sign with the Knicks if the Mavs are willing to pay him too

It's going to be funny at the end of the 2022-2023 season when Quickley has better stats at a much cheaper price than Jalen Brunson, who will be getting paid $20M+ if he signs with the Knicks.

In the end, you're most likely right. I am only basing this off on the source regarding the Portland deal. They are 25 million under cap and would like to add veterans more than retooling it seems like. I always thought Randle for the 7th pick outright was a good trade for both teams.

As for Brunson, we know he has some connections with the Knicks and even moreso with his dad on the bench.

Bobby Marks has explained the difference between Dallas accommodating Brunson depends on if Knicks can truly outright sign him. If they can't move close to 25 million a year, then Dallas would say kick rocks. The minute that the Knicks can sign him outright, that's when Dallas will call and ask for S&T. If I were the Knicks, I would seriously consider it since it will give me a little bit more space to add another player.

I like Ivey but one thing that makes Ja special is his court vision. He’s a top 5 playmaker in the league. Ivey doesn’t have that vision. Still a good player though

These idiots could have signed all these bums to 1 year deals, there was no market for Fournier, Burks or Nerlens, and we even overpaid for Rose. They could have come into this offseason with caproom to sign Brunson and still trade up in the draft, we might not even need to trade up because we'd be in the 4-7 spot to begin with.

I hate this front office.

It's easy to get caught in the echo chamber here so I'd love to ask a Kings fan themselves how'd they feel about trading out from 4 to us at 11?

I gotta believe kings fans just want to win at this point. They’ve been in lottery after lottery with nothing to show for it all these years. It’s been so long since they’ve even sniffed a playoff birth

Sounds eerily similar to another crappy franchise I know and love. But that franchise is 'much better' than Sacramento's (just because)

This is true but I would've focused on Lavine rather than Brunson at the time.

Man if Knicks were in position to draft Ivey and had Fox Sabonis instead of RJ and Randle... What were you saying again?

If the Knciks had Fox and Sabonis leading them to 27 wins they'd be the new RJ and Randle. Let's be real here lol.

They should have doubled the money for Rose and Bullock with a team option for year two.

Players get rewarded and get their money. Knicks keep cap flexibility. IQ and Grimes get more PT.

Well said.

There's no hope at all for this franchise - which has been the case for the last 20+ years.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
