He looks good. That lob he catches is vicious... Big, strong, fast, and powerful

Hope he's a magician for a very long time. Pretty much has everything you would want. Inside game, outside game, unselfish, physical/tough, good defender, etc.

One of my current favorites on this roster. He's going to keep getting better.

Yep, one of the best contracts in the league, IMO.

Agree...he's very good and very versatile which is great for a developing team. He could play alongside a big Center or next to a finesse 4. He's, at least, an excellent 3rd big on a really good team...on an amazing deal.

Wendell to me had a very low key good season last year. He thoroughly out played his counter part bamba on both sides of the ball and showed some growth with the 3 ball and defensively. I think the magic front office was very smart extending early to get him on that team friendly deal. With the cap going up in the next couple of season his contract will be minimally in comparison to his production. As long as he stays healthy of course...

It has to be the runaway winner as our best trade in franchise history. Getting three additional picks and Hardaway was undermined when we gave away the pick that became Stoudamire. Dumping Francis was undermined when we gave away Ariza. The only other candidate is jumping up to snag Jameer.

JJ redick trade for tobias? I know he ended up getting traded but i always though that was a solid one.
Also the rafer alston trade. Didnt give up much and kinda saved our season when jameer went down.

The Tobias Harris trade was good, although we also undermined that by giving him away.

I can't agree on the Alston trade. We gave up a first-round pick because Smith decided to go into the season with only one legitimate point guard on the roster. We could've just landed Lowry in the same deal, which would've been the far better move. Alston was out of the NBA within a year and Lowry is probably on his way to the HOF.

This 10000%

Such a talented player, but we can't rely on him missing 35% of the season.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

He's going to be a new age Al Horford, top 10 center for a long time

His defensive ability he showed last year was the best part of his game and should have shut up any doubters left from last season.

Very True on rafer being out of the league the very next year. But come on we gotta give anthony "no neck" johnson some love lol. He gave us some decent back up minutes here and there.

Well... it definitely wasn't an oversight on my part. I included "legitimate" with Anthony Johnson specifically in mind. He is up there near the top of my 'WTF is this guy doing in the NBA' rankings alongside Ronnie Price.

That's a really good comparison. I appreciate what Vooch did for us, but damn that was a great trade. He's a power big who can still stretch the floor and is a great teammate.

Being a fan of 90s NBA, I really enjoy his physicality. The man is not soft, he will put that shoulder into you and rise up. But also, he brings that modern big man shooting ability, ball handling, etc. He's a extremely skilled hybrid, and I'm glad he's with us. I don't know why I always think this in my head but for some reason he reminds me of a stronger, more skilled Horace Grant (not because of the goggles). He overtook JI as my favorite
