Flowers are going to be thrown at Curry, the entire summer, some will even move him into the top10...But the reality, Klay has been in 6 Straight finals while Curry could not make the playoffs last season despite finishing 3rd(?!) in MVP. Curry needs a super loaded team. If I were KD, I would be fuming & messaging Kyrie (you see, F'in Wiggins took the Vaccine and see the results)
What an easy run though! We were robbed of a potential epic series Suns vs GSW!!! Just like we were robbed of Clippers vs Lakers.
HENCE I believe you have called it "Strength in numbers", right?
Plus I believe, last season, switch pre-injury Klay(2-way player) for Curry and GSW would have ended up 6th or 7th seed at worst.
Pre-injury Klay +Wiggins+Draymond(played 63 of 72) would not win a championship, but would certainly make the playoffs with all that defense.
(Having seen a Klay-and-Draymond led team in the playoffs, for a few games, when Curry had hurt his knee)

They’re the best run team in the league. It’s incredible they’ve won the title and have the ability to choose between running it back with the same team or making 1-2 trades to add more all-star caliber talent to the team.
The Celtics will be back but they need a true starting PG. Tatum also needs to be more consistent.
NBA next season should be fire.
From an article from AP:
One of the biggest questions this summer will be what Stevens, who is concluding his first year as president of basketball operations, plans to do at point guard.
The trade of Kemba Walker last offseason and jettisoning of Dennis Schroder this season put the responsibility in Smart’s hands. He excelled at times, but his defense-first mindset hurt a team that at times was crying out for a true floor general to open up the floor for Boston’s shooters.
Replacing him would be a tough call as he is also Boston's emotional floor leader.
Smart, who is under contract through 2025-26 season, is focused only on trying to help the team that drafted him in 2014 to improve.
Sounds somewhat familiar
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Smart once again with a negative offensive BPM in the playoffs. He is what he is, and that's not a 3rd option.

Tough spot for them to be in. Smart is a great player but also the main reason they have turnover and shooting slump challenges. It’s not a stretch to imagine they win the title this year had they had a PG that could protect the ball and do a better job of facilitating the offense.
Yes it’s a similar situation with the Raptors. FVV is our emotional leader and a very good player but not the best player IMO to lead our offense.

if raptors ever hope to get to that level again, we need barnes to get to kawhi level lol
Celtics could've won had Tatum just played at Tatum level. Very winnable series.
It's easy to say that you need to have a top 5-10 talent in this league. But Celtics had no problem beating the Nets, Bucks and Heat on their path to the finals. Celtics won those series because they were the better team. KD, Lebron, Jokic, Luka, Giannis, Embiid were all at home watching tonight. Ultimately teams win championships.
Let's not forget Curry was bounced in the play-in game last year.
beating an injured bucks team is eh. Khris is damm good player, id put him near pascal. missing that is massive. beating nets with a big piece missing isnt that impressive. beating heat ill give them that tho

But those teams still had top 5 players and still lost. Lol
Boston could have easily won this series.
And as mentioned before, Steph couldn’t even get his team to the playoffs last year.

FVV would be a good fit for the Celtics. But no way I want to face them 4 times a year.

They went to the finals. Smart is a much better playmaker than people give him credit for.
That wasn’t the problem.

Pretty cool all around, I.e. sports crossover and the fact that Pascal is in Canada during the off season. Looks like Spicy P has added 10-15lbs of Drip!

The San Antonio Spurs are fielding trade offers for Dejounte Murray, but have told multiple interested teams it would take a "Jrue Holiday-like package" to trade him. The New Orleans Pelicans received three first round picks from the Milwaukee Bucks for Holiday, though they also had to absorb the contract of Eric Bledsoe.

Ok, so OKC drafted both Jalen Williams and Jaylin Williams. How does the jersey situation work?

Haha I guess they have different numbers and they better remember them.
