It's not just that Hinkie left. We could have survived that. It's that Silver interfered and stuck us with the Snake who is a complete imbecile who lived off his daddy's teets his entire life.

We could have likely allowed the entire City of Philly to vote on the team's moves and come out with a better roster and asset position.

Would you prefer a reset with Chet Holmgren, Jabari Smith, cap space and replenish the picks we traded or be in a situation we’re in with a declining 32 yo Harden, a non durable Embiid, tip toeing between luxury tax and not having our picks for every other year till 2027?

I actually posited this thought with a friend. But Chet is a non-starter, he's just waiting to reach bust-status. Depending on the package, I'd consider one of 2 things.

Soft reset: Miami Heat - work out a trade or three team deal.
Full reset: one of Jabari/Banchero/Ivey + Maxey

Ok..

Let’s say two jabari smiths then..

Which would u prefer?
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I would probably go asset reset. It allows for a full on team reset including shipping Doc up the River(s) and deciding if Morey has the juice to actually make good moves when his cap sheet is clean and he has a warchest.

I think you are forgetting about the blind Simmons support from 2018-2021 from a very large chunk of the fan base.
