KD doubled down with extension. Even worse if the OP is accurate. Only 60 or so games of KD prevents you from being a contender

One has to understand that KD doesn’t give a flying F about Brooklyn. He wanted to play with his best friend Kyrie. And Kyrie wanted to play in Brooklyn, and one of the reasons was Kyrie liked Tsai probably more than Dolan (who doesn’t?) and their support of the BLM (from the same Tsai who openly supported police beating up peaceful protesters in Hong Kong fwiw). So KD went to Brooklyn with Kyrie.

Kyrie is now doing Kyrie. I can see KD in depression staring at this ****.

I'll put it this way, if he were to wind up back in OKC he would get absolutely no hate and probably universally applauded just because of what the national media thinks of small markets and how they feel that superstars are doing them favors by wanting to stay there or play there.

if woj says it its happening. no need to be in disbelief hes not SAS to spew bs. think abt it ur kd ur staying after everyone leaves?

Plus I could believe it because on Redick's podcast, KD was open about how he was not happy when OKC traded Harden and from that point on he wanted to have more input on transactions on whatever team he played for(GS aside). I could see him being done with Nets management if they trade Kyrie and don't get at least another star back. And KD probably thinks Kyrie is easily a top 10 player so it has to be a big name coming back in his mind

it's as if people slept through Woj swearingg Nets and Sixers were not talking Harden trade last year.

why do people refuse to understand that all these reporters do is repeat things their sources want them to repeat and speculate on. Doesn't what the source is saying is true, these people lie, all the time. use common sense.

I agree. Going back to a small market would help his image, which he's obviously concerned about, mend his relationship with Thunder fans and be able to retire with a team and fanbase that he will always be able to call his own. And still have a chance at a few good playoff runs with a young talented team. I could definitely see it happening. Maybe I'm a homer but if he gets traded from Brooklyn that feels like the most likely scenario to me.

If you are smart enough, you don’t trade your young stars Tatum or Brown + Smart or RW3 for 34y old KD, who played 90 games in last 3 seasons.

Acting like Tatum, Brown, RW3, and Smart are all untouchable assets for a top 5 player is pretty ridiculous. Durant will age well because his game isn’t heavily reliant on athleticism. No question if it was Durant on the Celtics instead of Tatum he wouldn’t have fizzled, the Celtics check all the boxes KD needs to do his thing which is knock down tough shots and create space for his shooters. This isn’t a rental either like Kawhi since he is already signed for the remainder of his best years.

KD fizzled in the 1st round, what are you talking about

That said, I imagine the Celtics would be willing to depart with anyone but Tatum if KD was available.

Lol it would need to be Herro AND Bam or we'll get outbid in the blink of an eye.

Herro, Robinson, maybe some other players that struggled to get on the floor in the playoffs, plus some picks, who says no lol

KD will go back and beg the Warriors to take him. I bet it had to hurt him to see the Warriors win before he did again.

Why wouldn't KD want to go to Toronto? No one mentions that. He's from Maryland so he's used to cold weather, he chose to play in Brooklyn, urban with cold weather, Toronto is supposedly only a single superstar away from winning a championship, why not KD to Toronto?

For a top 10 player in Kevin Durant? I would think so, yeah.

KD is out watch. Lmao at Nets playing hardball with negotiations with Kyrie. They are totally screwed. Clips need to move in on KD. Morris+Kennard+Powell centered package. PG/Kawhi/KD wing trio.
