That's a lot better than I thought they'd get..

Must have been a bit of cash

Orlando's tradition of selling their good seconds continues. Almost like a modern day Sarver

It's logical here though. They don't need to roster a 3rd rookie with the amount of youth already on the team. Get a future pick and millions of dollars is just good business.

Far different from Sarver selling lottery picks.

Not surprising, the Magic often sell their 2nd rounders so it was unlikely they'd keep and use two in the same draft.

LA had over $5m left for this year. They might be laying most all of it to get that high. Last year, Indy gave up 4 2nds to get to 31.

And Ivey looks like such a home run, so easy to see star potential pick sitting there for them at #4, too. I feel irrationally invested in the Kings I think because their fans have been put through so much crap with their awful ownership. But if they don't come away with Ivey, or a great haul in a trade back for Keegan, I'm gonna be shaking my head with another "Kangz gonna Kang" transaction I fear.

Lakers worked out quite a lot of players, but I'm kinda surprised the financially cheap FO spent money.

Back in the Day, maybe Philadelphia would sell second round picks with the actual transaction completed in the new league/season.

If the LAL - Orlando trade is completed this year/season (2021-22), maybe the Lakers might spend a bit of future Cash (2022-23) on another 2022 second round pick.

Amico saying that Kings are still favorites for Collins in a package around Barnes, without 4.

It would be interesting if the Kings could get Collins without #4 and then sell #4 to the highest Bidder [Maybe #9/Keldon?]

They’re not too cheap that they cannot spend on a draft pick but they sure aren’t Ballmer or Lacob rich to spend on tax.

This doesn't make sense though. We can't re-acquire Fournier in the 21-22 league year and with his salary increase for 22-23 he'll no longer fit.

We could match salaries on Fournier for Nesmith/Theis/Stauskas. And then maybe they send us Noel into the TPE that we'd still have. So our end result is:

Smart / White
Brown / Fournier
Tatum
Horford / G Williams
R Williams / Noel

I don't hate that lineup. But Knicks owe us some draft capital for those savings. #11 is too much to give for a salary dump, but future picks (they have their own and I think one more DAL pick). They also have some young guys like Obi Toppin, Immanuel Quickley, Miles McBride, Quentin Grimes.
