Nice pick for the Pels, secure the backcourt size/playmaking when you can

What a horrible fit.

Zion
BI
CJ
Daniels

Who is going to play off the ball? CJ came in and dominated the ball last year. BI showed the more he has the ball in his hands the better he was. The last time we saw Zion they were trying to get the ball in his hands more. I just dont see the fit here. Unless they're looking to move him. There is only one ball and I just dont see Daniels being a good fit.

I like it! He’s going to distribute to all those dudes and slot right in. I like dudes who don’t need the ball. Pels are going to be fun to watch imo

I just dont see the fit. I feel like the Pels should be going all out with the idea of BI and Zion being the primary ball handlers. Im just not a fan of adding a non shooting PG to this team. I dont see Daniels getting many minutes with this team next year. I dont see him getting much time as long as CJ is there. Just too many guys who already want the ball in their hands. With Daniels not being a good shooter, I see a rough fit when those 3 are already there.

He's pretty low ego. I think the fit is good in that he's really a glue guy.

yea, not gonna hate on Pels securing size and playmaking the backcourt. CJ's just a stopgap at this point.

my only question is you had Lonzo already, you let him go to spend this pick on a pretty similar archetype player? David Griffin is just so bad. dude runs around in circles all the time.

That's the thing though. Im all for the Pels looking to get a glue guy. I just dont think Daniels is a good fit is all. On ball PG who is a bad shooter is one of the last things I would've gone with for this team. They basically had a better version of this with Lonzo who was a quality shooter with them and they hated how that played out.

Clyde beat me to the Lonzo reference haha.

Davis has to be the pick here. Duren and Williams could both be available for Cha at 13

Yeah so bad but too rich with assets to look bad. Just the worst combination.

Spurs are gonna be scary on defense next year. They are building this the right way.

The Pels believe in their ability to develop guys shooting with Fred Vinson, if that's his weakness.

The real issue is that there isn't really someone available that's a clean fit for what the Pels need at 8, so they took what they thought was BPA. We really don't have many minutes available for a rookie unless he's an instant stud right now anyway, so he's going to have to be someone that sits and develops.

We're not drafting for a guy that starts today.
