NBA draft is next Thursday, the 23rd.

Free agency starts one week after that, June 30th, followed by a Las Vegas summer league July 7-17.

But when is our draft scheduled?

I know Ro wants it before Summer league but nah, lets have it at the end of Summer League. So I can benefit from some dude playing like crap and him falling to me like last year.

Quit whining.

First of all, you don't even have a late 2nd like last year.

Second, you already have 4 picks, which means besides the first batch of players you need to drop to make it to 20, you need to drop 4 more afterwards to convey your picks. It's not that deep of a draft.

Nobody is falling in our lottery because of the SL. There will be risers though, that's why I need this to be done as soon as possible.

I'll be damned if I scouted a dude for 6 months, watched more college play than actual Lakers game...just to have a **** getting ideas after a few boxscores in a sham league.

It happens every single year.

Look, I get the FA aspect. But all the relevant guys have ALWAYS gotten their money in the first week of FA.
By the start of the SL, 95% of the depth charts for next year will be set(you can't account for trades, trades can happen even if September).

We can do this after the 7th of July. So you pansies can even get 1 or 2 games of SL if it helps you out. I don't want to wait until after the 17th tho, that's just wasted time.

Cool story

You got your guy chosen. The rest of us do not. Therefor the draft needs to be pushed back towards the end of Summer league. That makes the most sense.

Lol Dieng as well. That frontcourt looking overwhelmingly deep in a borderline bad way

Chet is gonna turn OKC into a powerhouse. Haha @ Orlando. Now that OKC picked him, I even more sure he will not bust. 8-)

I’m not really impressed with that many guys in this draft. Good luck to everyone who has high hopes for this class.

I don't have high hopes ever since I got the shaft and had to pick 5th and 6th.

BUT... I am zeroing in on who to pick 5th and 6th. And I'll swing for the fences and go after Ro's guy with picks 8 and 9.

This draft is trash. Didn’t even bother watching a second of the coverage tonight.

I thought there would be more non-draft pick player movement tonight tbh

Same.

Probably in the next few days and when the FA opens up. Two weeks from now we should have a clear picture of the rotations for next year, rarely anything else happens after July 10th.

Jalen Williams and Ozzy Dieng will bury those **** Dort and Bazley. You can drop them right now.

Jalen Williams is a **** stud with elite measurements and they gave up 3 future 1sts for Dieng, for Bazley's trash ass out of all people to get in his way.

Poku, Chet, Dieng on the same team. The 3 of them combined weigh less than Shaq most likely. They need a full time chef badly.
