So Brunson and Ayton like not on Detroit table. Would be ironic if Charlotte trades Detroit their center so they can make a run at Bridges.

Maybe they tossed one of the future picks they just got from OKC to Charlotte? I find it hard to believe the Hornets just gave up Duren for that distant Bucks pick alone.

So if I'm following this correctly, the Knicks just dumped Kemba and added multiple first round picks?

Knicks might not be going for Brunson. Could be Kyrie?

Charlotte has to be getting more. why trade the 13 for a 2025 Milwaukee pick and four second rounders

I am really disappointed as a Cavs fan. We took a low upside wing who can't create his own shot.

But didn't they trade #11 for those first round picks? I'm very lost at this point.

Also I think Charlotte was very smart to take Williams as their center. This is the perfect guy for them.

Did they decide to hire the rookie GM from Draft Day?

I don't know the trade but I imagine we got a 1st from the Knicks for taking on Kemba, so they can pursue Brunson, and we sent Milwaukee and that 1st for Charlotte for Duren.

Agreed. This is the part that is exceptionally confusing to me.

Yup. No teams should be giving valuable assets for starting level centers. The difference between the 10th and 30th center is so minimal that taking him mid-1st is a good move [lock in a center for well below MLE].
