Did Detroit really turn Grant into Milwaukee pick and then turn the Milwaukee pick into #13 + Kemba? Savvy move

Agreed. This is the part that is exceptionally confusing to me.

I'll be honest all this makes a lot more sense if Hayward goes to Detroit and Kemba goes to Charlotte.

But didn't they trade #11 for those first round picks? I'm very lost at this point.

As I read it...

OKC gets 11
NYK gets 3-4 1sts

Detroit gets one of those 1sts for taking on Kemba

Yeah, I'm surprised the Cavs passed on AJ Griffin and Eason.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I mean as long as we're stipulating that trading #13 just to dump Hayward is dumb... agreed.

Can someone explain why they did a WNBA comparison for Williams? Seems like Gobert was the perfect comparison
Ingles is cooked.

Mark Williams was my target, but I have no idea what's going on with the #13 trade, feels incomplete

I read "multiple 1sts" from Woj I think but is there anything that specifically pegs that at 3-4? I sort of just assumed multiple to be 2.

I mean if you clear $50M, get a future 1st and 4 2nds--that feels like solid value for pick 13 to me. Again operating on the assumption that they have very clear financial constraints and have talked themselves into paying Bridges a fortune(not sure they should but...)

Eason is a great fit between Jalen and Jabari.

I don't grade on a curve for ownership cheapness.
