Problem is his ceiling is a PJ replacement.

I thought the same thing you did. Then I thought "well if we get that with a late first round pick for the next 7 years at $2M per year instead of the $10M PJ is asking for that's not too bad at all".

Kind of shocked by how excited Bud looks. He is a coach of a team looking to win now and he seems genuinely excited to get a project player.

Maybe the professionals know something about the kid that…we don’t?? Everyone seems excited to have him on board. Excited to see what we have.

He isn’t a project player though, he’s arguably the best wing defender in the draft. Bud played DDV straight out the gates his rookie year, don’t be surprised if Marjon follows suit.

Horst & Bud are like cartoons ...
Once upon a time there were two red heads in Milwaukee ... the incompetent & the stubborn.
I am at the point to bet all my money on Bucks not winning another championship for the next 15 years and Giannis having a Dirk end to his basketball story.

I’m so glad we found a way to extend the championship window while still keeping Middleton

Reading more backstory on him. Looks like Dad wanted him to be a star, so moved him to Seattle so he could play for Brandon Roy. Lot of basketball factory story stuff with Dad in chasing the high schools. Some Ed Smith vibes.

And of course since one of you tossed out Sam Cassell earlier in this thread, I can’t unsee that. MarJon really doesn’t look at all like Dad, but can’t find a photo of his Mom. Was she on the green room runway tonight? Dad however was a high school hooper.

I am sure they had the same talk and felt the same with DJ Wilson.

Could he be our version of Memphis’ Ziaire Williams? Williams only shot 31 from 3 as a rookie and was still a key contributor while healthy for a very good team. Similar bodies and offensive limitations.

Maybe I’m just talking myself into him.

Are you, sir, suggesting that MarJon Beauchamp's biological mother is... Sam Cassell?

Don’t waste the effort. This is a tough one to sell, we don’t even have YouTube hype videos out there. That said, we’ll get some hints as to skill come summer league. Guys like him generally can flourish in that summer league scrum.

He gave Nwora plenty of playing time last year through the first 20 games, then abandoned it once it was clear that Jordan has no basketball IQ.

I think Beauchamp will get ample time this year. Especially since he fits a position need for us at the 2.

I do not blame you but the track record for our current Gm is not good.

Agree, the Ignite did a terrific job teaching NBA game skills. So much better than the training college players get. Ignite players won't be typical rookies. Well, Jaden Hardy will be, because he's just dumb.

Don't call Kidd a professional.
