Has elite physical traits, along the lines of a Steve Francis, DSJ or Westbrook but plays more like a shooting guard/wing and so is a bit undersized for that position.

Yeah. I had him ranked as a top 10 pick coming into this past season, based off his HS film.

Even early this college season, i had him down as a lottery pick. but as the season went on, some of the defensive issues, shooting consistency issues and turnovers were showing up too much - and other guys in the class were rising up so i ended up with him as the #60 go on my draft board.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

On a positive note will probably have our pick of the litter from UDFA.

You might get one, two at most players from the second that end up as rotational guys. Im not losing sleep over the pick. Yeah I had guys I would have liked, but this was a weak draft with no major droppers, I think “great” is a little strong.

Tankathon had him a mid round pick half way through the season but he kind of trailed off. He should have returned to school.

4. 3 point shot looks good, even though he only shot 30% from 3.

I still felt like there were better players on the board.

Isnt he 6’ 0”? Thats small. Might make up for it with his athleticism but he is small.

davison is 6'2.5". that's what he measured at the combine. the in-shoes measurements are the official ones.

Meant to say he is 6'3. That was his listed height. But he looks smaller than 6'3.

In college they listed him as 6'3. Just checked the draft combines. He is 6'0.5 with shoes. They must have counted his hair lol.

Dom Barlow, Gabe Brown, Keon Ellis. Get me one of them UDFA please.
Probably others too.

EDIT: Lewis, I never thought he'd make it to 53, much less UDFA.

They should have taken a chance on Barlow. The kid's physical tools are elite. With that said, I am not too bothered as I didn't expect much from this pick.

This was a great draft class. And deep. Not sure where you’re getting your info from. There’s always talent to be found. Always err to the side of elite traits. Taking 6’ guards who can’t shoot isn’t it. Saw a few games and they hyped him up but he never impressed me. I think Brad is allergic to drafting 6’10” guys with length :(

"Made only 32.7 percent of his catch-and-shoot 3s, per Synergy. His numbers are lower shooting off the dribble, at 26.5 percent from 3, and on midrange floaters, at 30.1 percent.

Sloppy decision-maker who gets careless with the ball in his hands. He also doesn’t break down defenders with his handle, often dribbling the air out of the ball. At this stage, his NBA team would rely on him to get buckets but not steady the ship."

When I see this team the one thing I think it needs is a small guard who can't shoot with turnover issues. That'll solve everything.

Rather have the roster spot at this point.

Getting way too upset over some kids that wouldn’t even contribute for us anytime soon, we have enough of those as is.

Just send him to the G League and move on. I’m itching for the season to start already tbh.

I don't even care about keeping Grant Williams. So this pick barely registers.

I'm ready for free agency and trades.
