Koloko is a 1st round talent. Not sure how he slipped, but teams are going to kick themselves. His lateral agility is just on another level.

Houston wins this draft by a wide margin

We shall see. I personally don’t love Jabari, so even tho Ivey was not my first choice (didn’t really want to be at 5), I’m good with that.

Houston did very well, though. Detroit theoretically had one pick and Jerami Grant, not three firsts. I like the return.

it's insane

I watched a lot of Michigan last year. The kid can’t play. He can’t even hit wide open 3s.

agree,, guys like williams from arkansas, koloko, can't argue a team preferring over liddell but not houston and to me not baldwin but maybe the dude shoots lights out but see 0 way his athleticism succeeds.

Christie can't see that one either over liddell

Actually think Kennedy Chandler became a bit underrated in the end. That said, Gui Santos still on the board is criminal. Figured this might happen because he couldn't go to the combine while his season was still going on.

Who do you like the most out of those dudes as prospects? Gotta be Watson right?

Probably Baldwin, but I wouldn't be drafting any of these guys. I would've probably taken Baldwin mid 2nd.

So...

Ivey, Duren, Procida (as a stash)

Still kept almost 40mill in cap space, got out of having to pay Grant a big extension

I like it

Back 2 back years NO does better with their 2nd round pick than their 1st round pick. Love the Liddell pick. I forgot where I had him in my final big board, but it was around 12. Great role glue player for them. Really wish they wouldve gotten a 3pt shooting guard with their 1st pick. But getting Liddell in the 2nd is a huge win.

(Just looked, I had him #9 on my final big board).

Sell me on Liddell, I know very little.

I like the sound of what you said just because I think we just need to be taking teh best basketball players we can get, period. Just looking at his numbers, he looks highly productive and can shoot the ball and block shots.

Good versatile defender. He is pretty much a jack of all trades. Undersized 4 at just 6'7, but he has a 7' wingspan and he is strong and explosive. But ya he is just a smart do it all, not afraid to get his hands dirty kind of player.

I had him at 9 on my final big board because I thought this draft was pretty shallow when it comes to guys with star potential, but thought Liddell could easily become a very solid starting player in the league.

Defends multiple positions? Check
Rebounds his position well? Check
Can shoot? Check
High IQ? Check

He's just one of those guys where the numbers do look good and the highlights can look solid as well. But when you sit down and watch an OSU game, you just come off thinking, that's a hell of a player. I think day 1 he can come in and play solid minutes and look solid out there. Im legit shocked he fell this far. Didnt think there was anyway he would get passed the late 20s. Really his only flaws are he's an undersized 4, and not a dynamic threat off the dribble. But again he wont be asked to do anything really off the dribble in the NBA.

I think he gets more minuets than Daniels this upcoming season. I think no doubt he is the biggest steal in this draft big time.

Ha... just thought of you!

We made it!

Will they keep the pick though? I read Woj saying they are looking to trade it.

Good for Gui, hopefully the team brings him over for the GLeague season!

They mentioned something about a buy out. I was unaware of this. Think he's coming over next season so I don't think it is a stash.

He is likely staying with the Warriors. They were trying to move the pick before, but Barbosa is with the organization so I think they kept it.

No Overtime Elite guy gets drafted. Really a shame there. Unwarranted imo.

I really like what Houston and Detroit put around their young guard going forth. Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun are some of my very favorite prospects, and I like the fit and the upside of Smith and Eason sliding into that group. Awesome stuff!
