no, he went to SF to train with "nba trainers" and then covid hit and that facility closed down and he went home and the local CC asked him to play (and he scored 30 points a game).

The last one was 2005. Kobe and Jermaine Oneil are the two biggest. The rest are bluh.

Tough beat to bluh KG but I'll take it given he was a Celtic.

I can't believe you left the future MVP* out of this.

Why do you think KG(and a lot of these prep to pro) guys entered the draft when they did?

Ok I take it back about college. Lol. I see him as a project. We are in a win now mode. Is it easier to find role players or studs who pan out?

Kind of reminds me of Oubre if I had to pick someone just based off very minimal research and watching highlights. 6-7/200 range, probably lives low 30s from 3, long, attacks rim hard.

Because they where rated alot higher than our current pick? Espn had him rated at 44.

Open gym videos are pointless. You do not see him dribble at all which people say is a weakness.

Problem is his ceiling is a PJ replacement.

That definitely isn't his ceiling.

And I'm not some fanboy of this pick or anything.

Not buying him as a shooter. This is one of the more underwhelming scouting reports I've seen. Some of those misses would make Giannis blush.

Honestly, he feels like Thanasis 2.0 ... and that's not an NBA player, at least not without a famous brother.

It's clear they fell in love with adversity angle.

Moore measured better almost across the board at the combine, is a better shooter, better passer, probably as good of a defender, struggled through two seasons of growing pains.

I don't know. I just don't get why you wouldn't take Moore if you want a wing like this.

Lol, you think they took him because of his story?

I like Wendell Moore a lot, but he's not a comparable athlete to Beauchamp.
