Re: Deaftees used to wear more business looking outfits
Meh, fashion changes. Ya do I think these guys look a hell of a lot nicer in a clean well fitted classic suit? Yup. But I think a lot of current fashion is very dumb. Add in the fact these guys are 18-22 years old and just got handed millions of dollars, ya they're going to wear stuff they think will get some attention.
But I also understand Im 31 years old and I was told many times how dumb I looked from adults when I wore a button up or a polo without tucking it in when I was younger. Fashion changes. Im sure many of the guys who are 18-25 right now, in 15-20 years will say how dumb the new fashion is.

What I have seen is more or less last several decades NBA draft has been a clown show of "fashion" where young people spend a lot of money on outfits that looks look bad. This isn't new pheneom or currently in fashion. It's just kids with promise of too much money dressing up like buffoons.

I'm not sure if tucking in your chicken would make it less or more weird.

This. Someone post that pic where the entire 03 draft was wearing one. I always wondered if people knew it was a fashion statement of the period and they weren't just big by chance.

There were a lot of flashy suits in the 90's (and perhaps even late 80's). Mostly just very bold colors rather than weird sizing but still distinctive.

When guys who are 6-5 or taller don't have money and have to wear out their even bigger brothers' suits.

I stand by correct! Suits are the worst thing ever, at least make them comfortable!

As an Italian, I am ecstatic Paolo Banchero was the first overall pick, but looking at his outfit, I think we should revoke his passport.
I mean, no Italian would dress like that, come on!

You're way to harsh IMO. Shaedon's suit looks quite nice actually. Fits well and not too "flashy". I wouldn't go near Paolos fit. Looking like Joker out there.

You know, I agreed with you during the draft, but now looking at that last picture, I have to change my mind.
A lot of those guys look sharp. Everyone in the 2022 picture wearing black looks good. I can see why the more brighter colors throw you off, especially Paolo, but I think the rest look good for the most part.
I think you guys are forgetting these guys aren't business men in the sense that you are thinking of. They are entertainers, and this is their red carpet moment. And most of them are doing it for the same reason, to build a following or brand.

Paolo and Sochan are the only ones that look real off to me, and probably Dyson Daniels looks kinda goofy I guess. The rest look good, Mathurin is a color I wouldn't choose on paper, but the suit looks good to me in person.

They look pretty comical....but suits are dead and today's fashion is about looking as stupid as humanly possible.
