I don't think its fun to live in a world where 19 year olds aren't experimenting with their fashion. If they didn't, we'd all still be walking around in suits and hats even on summer days.

No Jalen Rose suit pics? Trae Young wearing shorts. Samaki Walker wore a hat... No Jason Kidd tie? Tim Thomas lets just say awkward suit.. Karl Malone short tie and tight pants...and many more.

Do you still wear Jnco jeans?
1998 is the worst fashion year.
Men were not wearing skinny jeans that year and there is no worse thing ever than men in skinny jeans!

I stand by correct! Suits are the worst thing ever, at least make them comfortable!
There is nothing more comfortable than a well fit suit
lol, yeah I always throw on a suit to go for a walk or to lay around the house. NOT!

i'm down with these kids having some fun with it, injecting a little personal style. and they're in suits, it's not like they are wearing crocs and socks.
plus they probably get tons of offers from various designers and suit shops if there's a chance they'll be on tv, so i doubt they even pay for this stuff.
i would absolutely rock a silk-blend jacquard tux with some unique contrast touches to really make it stand out.

I dont really care how they choose to dress.
With that being said, they are going to look back on this and regret it. One guy looked like the fkn tin man from wizard of oz.

I didn't remember it looking this bad, but there are a few normal looking guys there
but this is on another level, I can only save Jabari Smith there
You know, I agreed with you during the draft, but now looking at that last picture, I have to change my mind.
A lot of those guys look sharp. Everyone in the 2022 picture wearing black looks good. I can see why the more brighter colors throw you off, especially Paolo, but I think the rest look good for the most part.
I think you guys are forgetting these guys aren't business men in the sense that you are thinking of. They are entertainers, and this is their red carpet moment. And most of them are doing it for the same reason, to build a following or brand.
1. Basketball players are outside of soccer players the most marketable athletes in the world to the mass audience. Branding is important.
2. These guys aren't finance bros on Wall Street or tech dorks in the bay. The former wears high end business suits because that is their culture. The later dress down in ill fitting garmets because that is their culture. Basketball players belong to the entertainment and music culture much more than Wall Street.
3. Why do people want them to dress like civilians? I enjoy having artists and entertainers in society who can live differently.

Most of the actual suits besides whatever that purple thing is are fine. Its the guady bling that makes it look ridiculous IMO. Even the red suits seem well fitted and would be fine without the accessories.

I had an uncle who only took his suit off to sleep or go to work...but lets me tell you, you don't want to be him.
