Should be a fun team.

Likely heavy doses of the young Bluecoats that almost won it all: Springer, Bassey, Powell, CBJ, Henry + Joe? + Reed? + Petrusev?

Personally I think Isaiah Joe should be playing as much basketball as possible, he's entering that twilight zone in terms of being on the brink of transition from hopeful NBA rotation player, to crestfallen bench fodder.

Would also love to see Springer and Bassey come out and assert themselves as NBA players.

Springer, Bassey, and Champagne are the key players I’m excited to watch. All 3 will ideally show enough to signal the ability to player NBA minutes this year. Should be a fun roster it feels like a nice ragtag group of underdogs with real potential.

My dream would be for Bassey to dominate so much they shut him down for the last couple of games like Maxey last year. It’s possible.

Have to admit I'm intrigued to get a look at this Champagne kid against 1st and 2nd year league talent. Michael Foster is another interesting prospect to keep tabs on.

Springer should get plenty of touches and I'm sure he'll draw some entertaining defensive assignments. Huge offseason for him.

Bassey and Petrusev should be the starting front court. Look for Bassey to break at least one backboard in Vegas.

Love the size of Champagne and Foster. Hope we keep them both.

I always loved summer league. Maxey was exceptional in SL last year and then he was phenomenal in RS.

Looking forward to see Joe, Bassey, Petrusev, Springer and Champagnie

I miss Summer League like about 13-15 years ago when it was like one or two cameras and not ridiculously hyped up. I remember Orlando Summer league and the Orlando Magic pre-game show guys doing the games and just crapping on people and having fun while you still got to watch the game.

Now people wanna do hot-takes on how a guy performs like it somehow indicates something relevant.

Cash Winston, cool. I thought they desperately needed a pass first guard on the roster.

I’ll forever remember Trae Young playing like sh*t in summer league to remind myself not to overreact.

You know that Maxey was pulled because he had a commitment to a kids camp that he had to leave for, not because of his play.

I'll always remember Jrue Holiday looking like garbage and people thinking Maynard was the better player after a few summer league games.

I'll also never forget Okafor looking like Shaquille Chamberlain and we all thought we had a future scoring champ after 4 exhibition games. Those who take summer league too seriously should seek help.

That said, Bassey better average at least 18rpg and 5bpg this summer or he's trash for life.

My rule of thumb is to get excited over the good things that happened at summer league, but ignore all the bad. At that point, the bed is made, so why have the feeling of dread over these game. But if they show out like Maxey did last year, it means he has arrived.

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on Michael Foster Jr. From what I hear, his 3pt shot showed some improvement last year. Without having that outside shot in his bag he's probably more of a tweener with an outdated game, but he's physical and should at least be able to develop into a versatile defender.

Was a 5 star recruit coming out of high school and still plenty young enough to add to his game. Rooting for him to grab that 2nd two-way spot.

i dont follow a lot of gleague, but , if you are a 5 stars recruit, it would be better go to college? Foster Jr didnt get drafted and Jaden Hardy was drafted in the second round.
Actually, I think if you are a hot prospect, the better path to be a lotery pick is skip playing , like Shaedon Sharpe did. Another player that got screwed was Emony bates.
