Problem is the fact that Nets have no Draft Picks until the end of the Decade

Honestly, the clip sounds like dude might ride with the Nets for a bit. I'm not saying he wouldn't eventually ask out but just based on that little snippet, depending what value they can return for Kyrie in a potential trade and what the status of Ben's back is, could figure it out. He took a similar approach with Harden, like whatever happens, happens.

I think this will be the case as well.

If Irving is traded for some decent pieces, KD will let this season play-out and make his decision next summer. Hell, he'll probably do that if Kyrie comes back to BK as well.

Winning solves all problems because players make sacrifices.

If they never made the Harden deal they would have been dark horse contenders

I think it's media driven that KD could want to leave if Kyrie is gone. I think KD rides it out another year at least. I just don't see enough evidence to point out that KD is willing to leave Brooklyn over Kyire.

Is there a chance Ben Simmons returns to his peak form?

If so, I don’t see how Brooklyn isn’t still a nice place to be for KD.

It’s probably in the top 3-5 of most players desired cities to live in, among NBA players (except for the terrible taxes).

They have some good shooters and role players.

He could just be a little patient and see if they can put a roster around him.

If he somehow wins a championship, he totally re-writes the narrative that he has to team hop or be carried by other players.

KD is running out of time to win another title. He's going to be 34 next season and he's playing on one leg already.

Exactly. What's he going to do, follow Kyrie around? He's not going anywhere unless the Nets decide they can improve with a haul for him.

So can we now end this beef, Brooklyn fans, and just hate on Kyrie together?

All you people saying they shouldn't blow it up and try to rebuild through the draft need to mind your own frickin' business.

Would've been repeat champs if we never traded our youth away for harden. And vets.
Just having JA as our center would've been a difference maker.

Really? Repeat champions? Do you actually believe that?
