Cam Redish, Josh Hart, Kennard, Colby White, Kevin Huerter, PJ Washington, and NAW are all guys I'd be fine with swapping Thybulle for.

Kawhi, PG13, Durant, Giannis, LeBron?, Tatum, Brown, Steph, Luka, Ja, Trae, Booker, Mitchell, LaMelo, Ant, Cade, Haliburton?, Garland?
Of those, only Durant and Mitchell *might* become available.
Can you think of any others?
As much as I hate Durant and love Maxey I’d still trade every positive asset+Harris salary for KD.
Harris + Maxey + Thybulle + Springer for KD
Embiid / Bassey
Tucker / Reed
KD / Niang
Melton / Joe
Harden / Milton
I get that it's a deal you'd have to make (I guess), but I just don't want a ring badly enough to sell my soul for it. I'd rather win or lose with a team I can like, and you subtract Maxey and add a mercenary like Durant and it would just feel so cheap. We would be more hated than those GS teams, and not even as sure a bet to win.
Like it or hate it, you will need so much talent if we will consider Embiid in the equation as if we are building around a second tier star. Its because he’s availability is always up in the air.
And having Harden should have solved that, but we aren’t getting 2019 harden. And Maxey, truth be told, is just feeding off the attention the defense put o. harden and embiid
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I get what you’re saying but I also gotta say this: there are not many likable championships teams.
I’m 32 y.o. and I’m watching NBA since AI 2001 Finals team, and I think globally, to me, there are just 4 likable NBA championship team since 2001 (debatable):
2011 Mavericks
2014 Spurs
2015 GS
2022 GS
Hate was real with LA lakers with Shaq and Kobe, LeBron’s Heat, GS with Durant and many other teams.
People always hate the star power. And, btw, I don’t think we are that likable right now with Embiid and Harden.
And while I hate Durant’s personality, he is still an elite player. So yeah, I’d made that trade. I want to see Philly win at least one ring while I’m alive

It’s been almost 40 years without a ring.
And, btw, I believe 1983 Sixers title team was also a hated one.

Greatest team I ever saw - watched every game and saw a few at The Spectrum. I'll put that team up against any team ever - they could win any way it took, slugfest-type defensive struggle or outscoring someone, but they mainly won with incredible defense and the unstoppable Moses. Having Julius and Andrew Toney as secondary scorers was pretty amazing.
To be honest, I don't remember them being hated other than the fact that everyone hates Philly in every sport. Julius was respected and beloved, and I think most people were happy to see him get a ring.

Thanks for sharing.
I guess you’re not that desperate to win a title as I am lol. You already saw Sixers winning one.

What about 2004 Pistons? They were clearly the “good guys” in that championship.

Yeah, maybe the last of the 'no superstar' champions we'll ever see.

Bucks last year weren’t hated. People love Giannis and with good reason. He and Dirk are the exact opposite of clowns like LeBron and Durant who made a mockery of the league for a decade.

I dunno about that. Now, maybe we all hate the Lakers but the Pistons won by making basketball 'ugly' and playing defense in a way that was more often bemoaned than appreciated.

I wonder if Sixers fans would love Giannis if he was a Sixer. Particularly pre-championship.
I can just hear the sports radio talk about his jumper now, and how you can't win a title in today's NBA with him as your best player.

Sixers fans would love Giannis. Sure there would be a few haters, but not more than Embiid has. Look how we babied that coward Benedict for years. Look at the kid glove treatment for Fultz.

Without. If Embiid was a Buck and Giannis was a Sixer.
Embiid is currently something close to being hated by people. Giannis is being loved.

The organization certainly babied Ben... But the fans?
It gets exaggerated in the national media, but this certainly isn't an easy place to play. The fanbase tend to be hypercritical of it's players. Overall Giannis would get love... But he'd certainly get a lot more **** here than he does in Milwaukee.

Aren't you thinking of the Bad Boy Pistons from a decade and a half earlier? I don't recall the 2004 Piston team being disliked (aside from perhaps Rasheed Wallace) or overly physical - they were like the ultimate underdog with no superstars and taking down the mighty Lakers.

You must not be very nice to babies if you think that term applies to how he was talked about.
