Yeah, I am good with that pick. I was actually hoping for Williams but more for upside than what he accomplished as compared to Agbaji. Hopefully Agbaji can slot into the SF position, otherwise we have a bit of a logjam at SG for the time being.
I like it too, wish he was a smidge taller.

Yeah, at least he isn't 175 pounds. Seems solid enough to physically hold his ground. Well coached at Kansas, competitive and played in plenty of big games against high level teams. And, we don't have to rush him into the sl either.

With #39 they go with Center Khalifa Diop, seems like it may be a stash guy. If he comes to back-up Allen/Mobley then I'd say they're out on using the MLE on Onuaku.

If he isn't ready to play real minutes, we shouldn't have drafted him.

You don't think Agbaji is ready to play real minutes? You don't have to start to play "real minutes". I think he is one of the more NBA ready wings in the draft.

With #49 Evan's brother, Isaiah. From a sentiment perspective, I get it. I believe he will spend a year in the G-League, maybe a 2 way but probably more hold his rights while he plays with the Charge for a season.

The gap between our starters and our rotation guys isn't that big. If he can beat out one of our SGs, he likely beats them all. Or it's close enough that we could just start him anyway.

Is he a country music singer? LOL, his name sounds like a country singer. Maybe they need draft rights to trade 4 years from now to acquire the 50th pick in the draft then?

I would assume so lol Cavs have draft rights from 2006, 2011, and 2015. They needed something a little more fresh to stash.

If the Cavs clear cap for LeBron or some other high-priced free agent next year, we will have plenty of roster spots open then. Not so much now.

He still seems super raw might be one of those 2 years away, from being 2 years away situations.

I know literally nothing about Travers, I'm just saying he's a warm body who can fill a roster spot if we let our expirings leave in 2023 and don't get many willing veterans to sign minimum contracts.

Yes, but also maybe we try to do that but fail.

I'm sure JR, Miller, RJ, Frye, Perk, Shump, Andy, and Mo are all ready to come outta retirement and give it a go lol if we have an extra spot, then Travers (not to be confused with Tavares) can come over and fill that Delly/Cedi role.

I mean we try to sign LeBron, fail, and have a very good but not contending team that ring chasers would avoid.

Diop has been playing in a men's league. When playing against his peers, he dropped 20 & 12 .vs. Chet Holmgren and Team USA in the FIBA U19 quarterfinals, but he's no "unicorn" so he won't be starting 82 games as a rook.

Fail? That's what collusion is for.
